6月14日，今天要去个大景区：米湖，这块世界上独具一格的地貌区域怎能错过，下面是驾驶路线，今天大约开掉200公里不到。 除了米湖本身，周边有很多独特的地貌景观等待着我们去探索

蓝色的米湖在白色雪山和袅袅蒸气的衬托下美得出奇，这景色让人迫不及待想融入其中。更衣后推门而入，寒冷的天气立刻把人赶到温泉水中。一股暖意袭来让身心浸入这蓝色，享受这米湖带来的一切。池边几个老外喝着啤酒惬意地泡着，几对情侣在角落里窃窃私语。旁边一道木墙将温暖与清凉隔开，翻过木墙瞬间浸入凉水，带着凉凉的感觉再度回到热水中，温暖舒展。夜色降临，灯光亮起，我们靠在水中的木头围椅上静静地欣赏着夜色，温柔的米湖要把人泡酥了一般。

米湖温泉Mývatn Nature Baths：www.jardbodin.is 由于没有环湖，因此一行人自己动手做了一顿大餐后，泡温泉就成了今天的重点项目。和后面的蓝湖Blue Lagoon比较，米湖温泉很小、设施比较简易、人也少，水很蓝，也更温润舒服，价格更便宜。由于完全地处野外，站在池边就能看见广阔的火山熔岩地貌，加上强劲的寒风，泡在温泉里感觉相当好，如果黄昏落日的时候去，估计感觉更爽。夏季（6.1–8.31）9：00–24：00，最迟23：30入场。 门票：kr2500，租毛巾：kr500。大厨们在准备大餐大餐出炉，很丰富阿，五菜一汤外加葡萄酒筷子、刀叉一起上，吃饱喝足去泡澡附： 8月27日米湖温泉位置图离镇上很近天晚了没拍照，用一张网上白天的照片，很漂亮更衣室的衣柜很奇特，上锁必须要投入这个硬币才能锁上，开锁的时候硬币就会掉到下面的槽里。买票的时候除了给你电子钥匙，还要给你这个硬币，刚开始没搞懂，心想怎么刷卡还找零钱。

骑完马一身脏，去附近的myvatn nature baths,因为我们没有时间去blue lagoon，就是有名的蓝湖，于是去了这个类似的相对小一些的温泉，这个比较便宜，EU学生价2000克朗。进去以后就爽翻了~在蓝色牛奶浴一样的湖中 喝饮料，洗桑拿，踩着火山岩一样的小石头们~快到12点才走。进去前屌丝男把箱子拿出车子整理衣服，之后我想着把箱子放回去，谁知道箱子没关上只是看不出 来，一提哗啦啦撒了一地，只听得一声惨叫“我的内裤啊！”弯着腰的屌丝男把内裤袜子一个个收进去，我本来想帮忙，无奈笑倒了......

These baths stay open until 10pm at night and it was amazing to wallow in warmth and watch the outside temperature gauge at minus five. It was much less busy than the Blue Lagoon in this less touristy(at least in the winter) area. They also have a nice little shop selling reasonably priced own brand skin care products.During the day we returned to have lunch at the cafe which was excellent. We were cold after visiting the mud pots and they had the best help yourself goulash soup ever! Also a very nice salad bar and lots of other goodies.

The poor cousin to the Blue Lagoon, these baths are nonetheless worth a visit. They are less crowded, more affordable and offer a relaxing break after a day tramping around lava fields. I actually preferred these lower profile baths to the much lauded Blue Lagoon, that was overrun with tourist buses. The weather had turned wet and foggy so it was a sense of surealness sitting in hot water being rained upon!

A wonderful place to soak in after hiking Dimmuborgir and Hverfjall! We were tired and cold and the baths were perfect. Since we went in October it was very cold and we had to run from the changing areas to the pool, and getting out of the pool was very tough because we were wet! There were not too many people when we went, and since we did not make it to the Blue Lagoon during our trip to Iceland we had nothing to compare it to. But it was great!

Visited this pool at the end of the "game of thrones" tour with the travelling viking. The pool is in the middle of the lava fields and has a lovely wild feel. It is quite underdeveloped when compared to the blue lagoon and this adds to its appeal. Entrance is not cheap at €20 ( the public pool in Akureyri costs about €40) The shop sells local lavabread cooked in a a geothermal steam oven which is great with smoked fish. Recommended if you are visiting the north.

This place is amazing!We arrived on a wet and windy lunch time. We grabbed a bite in the cafe and then straight in the lagoon...it is definitely a place worth going!Facilities are clean and staff is helpful. The lagoon itself is beautiful and well kept. And when you get out your skin is so soft! We felt so relaxed afterwards... Recommended!

It is on a par with the Blue Lagoon if not quite so polished, but after all you just want to lounge in some hot water and you can do that here. Great view too.

We were booked into the Geothermal Nature Baths at Myvatn whilst on our tour around Iceland, so 12 of us had a relaxing 3/4 hour in the pool. We were advised to enter the Sauna before going into the pool. Good advice. Towels were provided. We had visited the Blue Lagoon but only for a photo stop. Myvatn was much less crowded only about 20 people in whilst we were there. The termperature outside varied from -8 degrees to +1 degrees - seemed unreal as the baths were so hot. Thoroughly recommended.

Drove round the Island of Iceland and, naturally, this was a must! Hard to find, but once found, amazing!! We had been driving from Egilstaddir, en route to Akureyri. The snow was lashing it down and we just wondered in to this lovely pool, whilst using its hot pot and sauna. It was about £15, but you know, when will we come back? So deffo worth every single penny!

We went to both Myvatn baths and the Blue Lagoon. They are very different experiences (both of which i would do again!)Myvatn was much less crowded which was great. It is in a gorgous location and seems more natural than the blue lagoon. I didn't see spa services there, this was really about the bath, steam room and sauna, not add on treatments.

We went here at the end of a day tour and it was a wonderful way to end the day. The changing rooms are warm and clean with good showers and hair dryers. The water in the pool was between 38° - 39.8°C and the floor of the pool is crushed lava stone rather than tiles. The sulphur smell wasn't very strong and we stayed in for about 90 minutes. There is also a cooler pool at 25°C which felt cold at first but it was good to swim in. Entrance in winter is around £15 with current exchange rate. It's more expensive in the summer approximately an extra £4. There were only about 25 people in when we were there and it's a very big pool so lots of space to swim.

Visited November 2010 (not March 2014 - couldn't select an option going back that far.) Different from the better-known Blue Lagoon outside Keflavik. No white medicinal goop here like at the Blue Lagoon. The Nature Baths are mostly clear, alkaline water and are delightful to relax in even on the coldest of days - when I visited it was about -5 degrees F outside and it was a real experience to be half-naked on such a cold day. Breathe in the steam and luxuriate in the water. There is a small snack bar and gift shop inside. Facilities are absolutely clean and well-maintained. A must see if you make it up to the north of Iceland.
