Amazing little bridge that is 2000 years old and still being driven on. For a lovely evening, have a taxi drop you here. Head straight through downtown/hisorical area and end at the arch. The piazza is right in the middle with plenty to enjoy. Between the beautiful old-world buildings, the restaurants and shops....it is a perfect evening.

Make sure you're there when the area comes alive for the Festa del Borgo, (the bridge's birthday). So much to see and do and so much fun!

The bridge was quite an unexpected find in a holiday resort! It is well worth walking across imagining the Roman Legions all those years ago. Good views of it are to be had both from the park on the city side and from some steps leading down to the river from the old quarter. It is closed to vehicles from time to time for receptions, photo shoots and, on our visit, a wine fair!

A stunning bridge which has stood the test of time for 2000 years & is open to daily traffic which says something incredible when modern architecture is unlikely to survive even 100 years! There is so much architectural history to be seen & yes, it is a bridge, but more special than the Millau Viaduc!

I sat at a bar right beside the "Ponte Tiberi' for two and a half hours enjoying the fact that people have been crossing this beautiful bridge for two thousand years!

This bridge is a major historical landmark and it is of major historical importance and amazingly still in operation, having survived many wars including World War II.

The Tiberius bridge is the real thing - a genuine roman bridge still in use today. It's beautiful and the fact that it is doing its job like it has for 2,000 years is wonderful. It's free of course to visit - just go there and walk on it.

The bridge is amazing considering its age - although it has been slightly reconstructed. Well worth the under 5 minute walk from Piazza Cavour.

I mean, this place is 2000 years old, and cars are still riding it, if you thing about, the same year that Christ was born, the Romans were building this thing.... just AMAZING!!!

This area, for me at least, typifies Italy. The sight, the sound the colour, wonderful. Any visit to Rimini is incomplete without taking time out in this area.

Attraction not to be missed while in Rimini - especially that it is located right next to the old fishermen village. Check both of them out and make sure to bring your camera with you. If you like to paint, both will definitel give you enough inspiration...

Quiet amazing to see a roman bridge still being used and some lovely bars near byWe had difficulty finding it, but that was our fault not good with maps. It is in the old town

While wandering around I came across this bridge, it had some character about it, so I took a photo, crossed over and had lunch at one of the good restaurants on the other side. It is worth coming to this end of town for a look.

beautiful, historical and impressive. Leads from city center to the eclectical Borgo San Giovanni. They say it's going to be closed off for traffic sometime soon but so far too many cars pass constantly

This was such a memorable part of my trip to Rimini. Yes, it's just a bridge, and it's in use, so there's not a lot of activities there. But it's pretty remarkable to walk over something that's 2000 years old. The stones are worn from all the people who have walked over it for thousands of years, going about their business. It's so amazing to think about what has happened in the time that bridge has stood. It probably also helps that coming from the US we're lucky if anything is 100 years old, so I'm always awed by historic structures like this. Even if you aren't into old things, it's very picturesque with the river and old buildings. It is a pretty busy bridge for cars, as noted by many other reviews, so watch out for traffic. The other side, il Borgo San Giuliano is so charming it's worth crossing the bridge for. Plus, yummy restaurants over there too!
