我们坐的是从interlaken到卢塞恩的这一段 用的欧铁通票 把用另外买票 也不用订位置 直接上车就行 沿途全是山山水水 非常漂亮 车窗可以放下一半 方便照相

When we made overland travel in Switzerland, we found that the Swiss train system was very reliable. Considering that they make 'precision' clocks and watches, we are not totally surprise that the arrival and departure of trains were very punctual. We landed from Paris at Geneva airport and bought tickets from the counter at the terminal. As there was no crowd, being end of autumn and the winter season had not started, the duty staff took time to explain the cost, schedule and alternative routes, from Geneva (via Mountrex) to Interlaken, where we had booked an apartment. He did recommend Golden Pass train, which we can board at Mountrex. He did also highlight the available short trips to nearby towns in the region like Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Grindelwald, Jungfrau and Bern. As train services were always punctual, as such that we had accurately plan and time our train transfer between different lines.Planning is important, as we found out that, when we were at Wengen, the way up to Jungfrau, even as there's snow, it was not thick enough for any skiing or snow-boarding activities. But then, the scenery was really beautiful, as beautiful as those found in postcards.

Living in the Lausanne area, we always wanted to enjoy the Goldenpass trip from Montreux to Zweisimmen. Due to the lack of snow last year we decided not to go.Last weekend we booked a trip from Montreux to Zweisimmen for a certain hour in the morning as we had to catch some other trains to Lucerne. In fact we counted on the panoramic version of the Goldepass train when we booked the reservations but on the schedule it was the Goldenpass Classic which was very nice as well. The 1st class coaches in the Orient Express style were very comfortable and heating was working well.Actually if the train is full there is no space for suitcases on the train but this coach was nearly empty. When we asked the conductor if we could have some coffee and croissants he told us that there was no service on the train at all. We swear to have seen a trolley next the train when getting on board with a bottle of Champaign and a thermos flask at Montreux station.Looking at the train schedule of the given day only 50% of the Goldenpass trains offer a minibar and only 2 out of 8 on that day actually serve some food. We were really disppointed but luckily the train had a 15min stop in Gstaad and I was able to get a coffee from a nearby coffee machine. It's quite sad that the service is not very consistent and transaprent in the Goldenpass train. Some trains have no service, some have minibar and only two have a meal service. The advertising brochure gives a different impression.I find it a bit misleading and not very transparent. The trip lasted almost 2 hours and having no possibilty to buy something or to enjoy a hot chocolate gave a kind of sober taste to the trip.

I did this on my last day of my AG (Swiss travel card) so it didn't cost me a penny. Started in Montreux and went all the way to Zweissimmen. Quite possible to jump out at Gstaad or somewhere for a break and continue the journey later. It's not your regular Swiss train. the Golden Pass train has panoramic windows, even larger/ comfier seats and trolley service. It's a fantastic journey with spectacular views. Well worth it.

If you take the train to Broc, you get a discount if you take the water "taxi" you get a discount. Don't have to pay for the local bus fare.

The train is awesome and we sat in the last coach VIP seats with glass windows all around it was like being in the most magical land on this earth .The most execellent views made me want to get down on one of the small stations on the way and settle down for ever.Loved it and cant wait to be on it again.

Boxing day 2014, took the (Montreux - Zweisimmen - Interlaken - Luzern) route. Snow capped mountains, stunning lakes, snowfall along the way, idyllic villages/towns and lots of greenery. Nothing can prepare you for this, utterly beautiful - video and pictures do not give this magnificent train route any justice. Very comfortable trains - all perfectly timed, ample to transfer luggages across and not a minute to waste. Isn't cheap; in fact - very expensive. But is it worth every Swiss Franc? Most definitely.

We took the old style carriage up to Zweissimen as a bonus, travelling in First class. It was a joy of a ride, with clear skies the entire train trip up. The views are breathtaking. There is no price difference for the older style carriages compared to the new ones. We walked around Zweissimen for about a few hours before travelling back to Gstaad. Here we spend another few hours walking around. It had by now started snowing heavily.. We then took the Panorama train back, with the snow now falling heavy all the way to Montreux. A wonderful day trip

This panoramic train has beautiful views. Rolling hills, mountains, charming villages, it has it all. Make sure it is a clear day when you go. We did the whole trip, but split it up on 2 separate days. We went from Montreux to Interlaken via the GoldenPass one day, and then we stayed three nights in Wengen. Then we went from Interlaken to Luzern via the GoldenPass. We had the Eurail pass (which covers this trip), so I just made reservations for the GoldenPass train before our trip. We were lucky, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. September was a great time of year to go!

The panoramic train is really worth the views, but make sure you travel with clear skies. Took the ride from Luzern to Montreux, with an overnight stay in Interlaken. The swiss countryside views are really out of a fairytale.

We took this train from Interlaken through to Montreux and the scenery is breathtaking. I would advise reserving a seat as it can get busy. There is a refreshment trolley service for the basic beverages and snacks etc.

Found it a bit over-rated. We did the Geneva - Montreux - Chateau d'Oex return trip taking the Cheese train (Train Du Fromage). The train was beautiful with wooden panels and a vintage feel. The tour guide was lovelywho shared interesting facts about places on the route. However, the scenic view (for which the golden pass is known for) was great but nothing exceptional. You can see similar views throughout Switzerland anyways in any of the regular trains as well.

Huge windows to enhance viewing opportunities. We took the train from Montreux to Les Gruyere and back with a stop in Montbovon to find chocolate in Cailler. The ride was the most scenic and was everything I dreamed about as a little girl dreaming to come to Switzerland. I was under the weather....so forgive me if I don't remember the exact route we took and stops we made! But...I want to do this all over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As with all Swiss trains, the Golden Pass line is no exception. The "Golden Pass" really refers to the overall journey on this train through scenery unequalled any where else in the world. When traveling in Switzerland in the vicinity of this train (which only goes from Montreux to Geneva or reverse) you must do this train trip. An equally good Swiss train trip is the William Tell Express south from Lucerne

We took it from Spiez to Montreux, a half-day ride through hill and valley that is well worth it. Unfortunately, it ends up in Montreux :(
