Well attended again this year. Acoustics were good, visibility from the upper deck was okay, parking was easy in and out. (If you're going to park in their lots, go Walton Way and cut over. If you are going to park on the street, go Greene Street and cut over.)

We took our boys this weekend to see the Monster X tour with the huge trucks! It was SUPER loud but Great!! This entertainment complex is very popular and we are going back next weekend for another event. Note: eat before you go the food is pricey

As others have pointed out, Augusta's Civic Center is a missed opportunity to put Augusta on the map of cities for concerts, special events, etc. It's hard to access, the seats are very uncomfortable, and the floor area is so small the hockey team can hardly play. No monster trucks, no indoor football, no famous act concerts, etc. Should be torn down and start over. Even Evans, Ga, a small community bordering Augusta, draws better entertainment. So does Aiken, SC, with it's Convocation Center. I've been saying for years that it's time for Augusta to step up and spend the money to draw business away from Atlanta, Ga and Columbia, SC and stop being a restroom break along I-20. We need to spend the money to build a civic center that any community would be proud of and any entertainer would be proud to say they played.

This is the premier place for all graduations in our area. It's just a big arena for special events. Nothing spectacular about it. I've seen bigger and better in other states.

One would think with back-to-back graduation cerimonies all day the James Brown Arena would staff appropriately for restroom cleanliness and supplies. It's really absurd to run out of TP and have other unsightly indications of neglect. Doesn't reflect well on Augusta to all the out of town visitors.

The Civic Center (James Brown Arena) isn't anything special. It's average size (say Phillips Arena in Atlanta) and not many people want to book good shows here due to the crowd turnouts, but the good shows (popular at the time) usually do sell out.

"I remember when you could be exited about attending an event at the civic center. I guess my emory is better than my children think if I can remember that far back but I see no reason to ever return. It is dirty, needs many repairs and the attractions don t attract me.

Not the best place in town to be. High ticket cost, over rated shows, serly employees and not the cleanest place in town. Not a place I will ever go back to.

We go here all the time during ice hockey season. It's an older venue but it works well for sports because of its size. The noise carries well in the arena

Dirty restrooms,poor seating and security this is the most mismanaged place in Augusta second to the local Governmant.

This place may not be in the best location down town but I do feel safe when I go here. My biggest complaint is that there is not enough parking. Other than that I take my whole family here for Christmas in the South and concerts,etc.

I know times are difficult for a lot of city governments right now. However, as soon as things rebound, tear this place down and start over. It's concourses are tiny, concessions only make the concourses worse and sightlines from several seating areas are just bad. I don't care who is there and how big of a fan of that act I am, I will not watch a show there again, ever.

The seating on the floor where you pay premium is pretty bad. Bad seats, as far as views, and bad chairs.

Depends on the event.....of course, food and sodas are expensive like every other civic center. Never had a problem parking.

I attended a sold-out Winter Jam concert here. The view from the stadium seating was excellent, but I can't say much for the rest of the venue because I'd lose my seat if I got up (no assigned seating). It was easy to find, there was virtually no traffic congestion coming or going, and we had no trouble with parking.
