A bit smaller than I expected. We saw an alligator show, which my 10 year old son loved. Lovely pictures and exhibitions. Great nature.

I don't mind to spend US$10 for some visit , but this time, it was a ripoff , all the tents(barracks) habitations were almost empties only 4 people were making some ornament and wood carving, it was no talk or small from these people making goods, the museum was ok, the crocodiles were numberous that was good , the crocodile show -1 , just nothing to remember, nothing special, just a poor show.

Im not sure what the deal was on my trip but I didn't see ANY alligators! Our airboat lost power and we had to be transferred to another one. The wrestling show was also dull, it was cool to see the stunts but its not full on wrestling, just simple tricks.Holding the baby alligators was pretty dope, they're soo cute and feel like rubber. I was pretty bored the entire trip, this is not the EVERGLADES and its advertised that way and I think its not right, this more about learning their culture and not being surrounded by alligators which is what I was expecting. its worth going to say you've done it but it was pretty boring

I am an Australian who has always been fascinated by the Indian Culture. When i heard about the Miccosukee Village i knew i had to visit to learn about the Indians of the everglades and to tie it in with the Gator visits that tourists do whilst in the Everglades. We saw a show and were amazed. It was wonderful to learn about the history of the area and with the added tourist fun. We even got to hold a baby gator. Go to the village if you would like to see the everglades with a different outlook.

Cost was $16 each and well worth it. Lasts about 20-30 minutes. Hector was our driver and guide and a great guy! We went two days ago. We took the small boat and it was very easy to find as it is opposite the indian village building with plenty of parking. We had a full boat and within the first thirty seconds we saw an alligator. We whizzed around the evaglades and ended up seeing a few alligators. Jumped off for five minutes at the Indian village where there was a large alligator that lies there but was happy to be stroked by our guide. Was great fun, well organised and great time. Loved it.

If you love the Everglades, seeing alligators and learning about history and native traditions, go there! This was our second time visiting and it was different, it all has to do with the person guiding the tour, riding the airboat or wrestling the alligators, some are better than others, but we learned from all, and had a good time. Love them alligators, take a picture holding (a small!) one...

Everything in this placed is over priced, and it is very expensive to enter. Not worth the money. I mean the cheapest native Indian dress is $500 and it look factory made not hand made. This place is more of a commercialize setting.

You should combine this visit with a trip through the Everglades to see the alligators. We took the trip from the village itself (the other side of the road) which is by far the best way to see the locality. Then to the village to see the alligator wrestling and a variety of crafts albeit not all designed or made by Miccosukee. Finally off to the restaurant which is just down the road to try frogs and alligator! Well worth a trip.

Stopped by on the way from Fort Myers to Miami on a whim to try the airboat ride. At $16 per person my family of 5 really enjoyed it. The guide was nice, the trip to the village in middle of everglades broke the trip in half. In all about 10 minutes out to the village on airboat, 10 minutes at the village and about 15 minutes back to the highway on airboat. Good views of everglades and a fund trip well worth the $16 cost.

Shout out to Elvis, our airboat driver!! We took a spin with him on Thanksgiving Day. Such a cool experience to watch him call the gators out of the water towards him. We didn't make it to the actual village, only for the airboat ride.

We attended the 40th Anniversary Miccosukee Indian Arts & Crafts Festival (see http://www.miccosukee.com/events-c/40th-anniversary-miccosukee-indian-arts-crafts-festival/ )last weekend and enjoyed it. It runs through January 1st, and there are Indian performers that come from all over . . . Arizona, New Mexico, Canada, etc., that display their crafts and dances. We lived for a decade in New Mexico and never saw the Zuni eagle dance until we saw it in Florida. Some of these performers have traveled all over the word . . . Russia . . . China . . . and they gave interesting talks about the meaning of the dances. Turns out, this happens every year - January 26th to January 1st. If you are in the area and looking for something different, it is a good deal. Six bucks for seniors. Whata Deal.

The alligator show is really something. These guys are crazy good at what they do.Loved the Florida smile.Do the tour and learn of the tribe. Ask questions but be quick or before you know it your off to the next bit. The male and female videos about the history perspective are interesting and worth the short time to watch. The fan boat across the way is cheaper than most and excellent.
