We went here for my husband but we all enjoyed, including my eight-year-old son. The place is free to get in, and they take donations. It's best to go on a nice day as they have lots and lots of static displays outside including all types of military equipment. My son really enjoyed seeing all the tanks. It was a drizzly day so we didn't spend as much time outside as we would have liked. Inside, the museum is packed with artifacts and info from all different wars. Very interesting! They have weaponry from all different wars. There is a WW2 display with actual things found in Hitler's home. They have large mannequins dressed up as they would have been dressed for the time. I would recommend this museum. If you really enjoy military history, I would plan half a day. If you aren't, it's still very interesting, and I would plan at least a few hours.

This place is a wonderful museum. It showcases Oklahoma's contribution to many conflicts in US history. There are also a lot of military vehicles on display.

A nice collection of military history, and equipment. Plenty of chances to takes pictures of tanks, planes, and other large military equipment. There is no charge, but they do take donations so be sure to have some cash on you if you visit. I recommend if you have a couple hours there isn't a better way to spend it

Free parking and no entry fee; however, you can give a donation. The 45th infantry was an important part of the victory of WWII and has many displays from that time period. Military object both outside of the museum and inside the museum building. One of the best sites in OKC.

If you are a student of WW II particularly, this is well worth a visit. There are exhibits both inside and out of large and small weaponry, as well as historical memorabilia of various types. For me the highlight was the large collection of of cartoons from Bill Mauldin, who was embedded with the 45th during WW II.

Cara and I loved seeing all the tanks and helicopters up close. And all the guns and stuff inside were so cool. We couldn't believe it's been here all this time and we have never been before. I can't wait to bring the kids.

I liked everything but we went on a Mon and it was closed and too cold so we took pics from the car. My son loves that kind of stuff!

This was well worth the stop! It's all very nicely done, displayed, organized and the volunteers were great! They were very proud of the museum and very knowledgeable about its contents. They'll walk around with you and point out the highlights of the museum...your own museum guide! :)There were two display cases of items from Hitler's Various homes. That was interesting to see. They had a whole room of Bill Mualdin cartoons. And another room of guns, The Reeves Collection. Overall, definitely worth the stop and time to walk through it.

This is a well-organized museum which provides a specialized insight into the 45th Division's history which will surprise you. My husband who is retired military never misses a stop here when in OKC.

I don't know where to begin in describing how incredible this collection is. The story of the 45th Infantry is plenty of interesting and this museum is full of amazing artifacts. Of course, people are (rightly) wowed by the Nazi collection which includes some of Hitler's personal items. But there is plenty more to digest. I have been going off and on throughout my entire life. When I return home, it's a must to stop and revisit.Go and enjoy this fantastic, Oklahoma treasure.

Came here recently with my son and a couple of his friends, have been here multiple times. As a museum, this place is very underrated, as their displays are very informative and interesting, both indoors and out. The tanks that are outdoors are very interesting and fairly well preserved. The Nazi display inside is very interesting as well, especially the Adolf Hitler memorabilia from Berchtesgarten. Lots of historical firearm weapons on display, from early colonial America to current times. Admission is free but they do take donation, there is also a small gift shop as well. They do take donations. Would highly recommend to anyone who has an interest in military history or even to someone who likes history in general

My wife and I looked online before visiting to make sure this place would be open when we planned to visit. The sign on the gate states that the museum is open from 1 PM to 4:15 PM on Sunday – the gate wasn’t open at 1:30 PM. Very disappointed that nobody bothered to open up the museum that day. I had a $20 set aside to put in the donation box. Unsure that I will ever plan to stop here in the future. I might stop by if I am in the area again.

There's not much to add to other reviews other than confirming this museum covers a large segment of military history, is super organized inside and on the grounds, and if one is fortunate to hit it on a sunny day like we were, it is a great experience…a little hard to find at first, but well worth the trip.

I was able to visit this museum this week and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. It has numerous outdoor static displays of aircraft, tanks, artillery and other motored vehicles. Inside is a wealth of things to see primarily regarding the history of the 45th Division but also other military interests that have ties with the state of Oklahoma. I also found the museum volunteers to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I believe this museum is a 4 star attraction. However I am giving it a 5 because admission is free. The state of Oklahoma owns the facility but they do accept donations. Budget approximately 60-90 minutes to see it all.I recommend this museum!!!
