Took my son to check it out and he loved it. They give the kids a scavenger hunt and they get to learn in the process. Best of all it's free!

This center is devoted to education, but in a fun and interactive way. They have stuffed animals, toys and exhibits teaching about conserving water and such. They have special events that include crafts and tours. This spot is next to the kids museum, so it is a nice spot when you are done at the kids museum. The facility is also really beautiful. If you were ambitious, you could go to the kids museum, then the Wet center, and you could walk to the Olympia farmer's market and Percival Landing park, and the fountain is in walking distance as well.

An excellent, interactive, and educational spot for children and adults five years old and older. Adjacent to the Hands On Children Museum this free resource deserves your visit if you have a curious child or adult in your household who likes to understand how things work.

Very fun to play with the Goeducks, and the kids love getting to touch all of the sea life. This is a great part of our Northwest heritage here around the Puget Sound.

The LOTT Clean Water Alliance is a great day out for the class room. It is educational for all ages levels. Students learn about the relationships between people and water that encourages environmental stewardship.

The WET Science Center is o.k. for a short visit. They have some hands-on exhibits that the kids will enjoy such as seeing how much water you use for different home activities. There are a couple of areas with preschool toys. The Center is small and somewhat dark. The atmosphere and staff are not as "kid friendly" as the Children's Museum next door, however, a combination visit is worthwhile. The WET Science Center holds children's activities sometimes. And the new outside plaza is definitely worth walking through, specially on a nice day.

The museum is well set up. There is a great auditorium and it is suitable for work projects. The grounds outside are worth a visit. There is plenty of easy parking. It is a great place to take children.

We visited for the first time during Sand in the City. They have a great arts and crafts room and lots of different stations talking about water conservation ideas and efforts. There are toddler toys in the back for the younger tots. Once the new Hands On Children's Museum opens next door this will be a really great spot downtown for families to visit!
