史密森尼国家自然历史博物馆

美国国家自然历史博物馆是我们到美国华盛顿特区旅游时参观的一个景点，这家博物馆很大，藏品非常丰富，对各种生物、矿石等的介绍十分详细。特别值得称道的是，我看到很多小孩子在参观，而一些老年志愿者在为他们进行讲解，很受感动。确实感受到美国对少年儿童科学知识普及教育做得很好，而这些退休的教授或工程师在这里担任志愿者，也体现了他们的社会责任。

美国华盛顿广场必去的博物馆之一就是这家自然博物馆，这里趣味十足，从恐龙时代一直讲到人类，还有很多稀有矿石，慢慢走仔细看可以花上半天时间。纪念品区可以买到色彩丰富的小矿石纪念盒，非常漂亮！

一楼是各种化石，大象恐龙，各种动物；二楼是各种珠宝，甚至还有泰坦尼克电影里的Hope大蓝钻，各种开眼界。最关键是门票还免费，我去了两次，是去过最好的地质类型博物馆。

展品非常有趣,而且我们10岁的女儿也玩得很开心。这里跟纽约自然历史博物馆是迥然不同的风格。我最喜欢的展品是珠宝,还展出了“希望”钻石,有45.5克拉!自助餐厅的匹萨是凉的,让人失望,不过还有许多其它食物可供选择。我建议学校放学之前去。

这里不同的建筑群恰恰表明了这里的不同片区,相邻的建筑群之间都有一定的空间距离。有大量可以步行移动的空间。这一片的空气和空间都比较舒适清新,俄亥俄的空军博物馆相比这里明显要更高一级。

孩子们非常喜欢这个博物馆里的动物,可看的好玩的数也数不清,面积比我想象的要大,参观时间会很长,到处都有卫生间,婴儿车和轮椅都方便进入。极力推荐。

有特别多可看和可了解的东西,由于需要走很多路,所以要留出充足的时间,穿一双舒适的鞋子。我们为决定来着这样一段旅行感到高兴,但是这需要花几天的时间来把所有的地方都看完。你能想象得到,这里不收钱么?是的,免费!

始创于1930年代的史密森学会博物馆们每一座都是非常有爱，各种适合从0到120的人群单独或组团游览。自然博物馆整理了非常多的珍奇标本以及有趣陈列，互动性也不错，可以见到处处用心的安排。强烈推荐！

There is something for everyone here. I absolutely loved the Rocks and Gems section. I could spend so much time there. Although I have seen a lot of animals, etc it is a wonderful place for families to go with children and there sure were a lot there.

We couldn't pass up an opportunity to visit and see the famous Hope diamond. The setting by Cartier was even more stunning than the famed stone itself. We spent a large part of our time in the gemstone and mineral area. So much to see and appreciate. I found we were all happier when we left before seeing it all as to push to take it all in would overwhelm the senses.

This was an amazing place to visit. The gems, the bones, the mummy, the butterflies...on and on. Plan to spend no less than 2 hours!

Hall after hall of animal exhibits plus the Hope diamond in the gem hall, plus the evolutionary exhibit, where you can trace your ancestory back. Great gift shop in the basement level.

So many people, a lot to see, outstanding IMAX, but the photos of nature take the show and amaze one with vision and insight.Worth the trip for sure.

this is a great way to spend a few days, if you want to see it in a few hours you will miss a lot. We spent the day and I feel I could spend a month, this is a wonderful place to take the kids. My 3 children loved it and were not ready to go when it came time. I can not say enough about this one truly a great museum.

No trip to DC is complete without a trip to the Natural History Museum! My favorite exhibits are evolution where I found out my DNA is 60% similar to s banana, and the Hope Diamond! They have a great gift shop in the lower level.
