We have gone to Pond Hill Farm on two different occasions. Once to pick and paint pumpkins and the other time to make holiday decorations. This is a wonderful place to bring kids of all ages to feed and pet animals and to experience a real working farm. In addition the farm to table food is fantastic as well. I Highly recommend Pond Hill Farms to families.

So glad we made reservations for this special event! The food was fabulous, wines good, barn building stylish and comfortable, and the family style seating provided a fun social setting. Couples had driven in from Detroit to the UP. A highlight of our two weeks in Harbor!

Great wine, beer, beyond friendly. Wonderful produce and products from them over the summer at local farmers markets. A new favorite for sure!

we made the trip out to Pond Hill on a recent weekend morning. Walked around the grounds, noted the pig race times, and headed to the wine bar. They have a flight menu and we sampled a few. Chatted with the wonderful young woman behind the bar and (I believe) Chad. Super nice & friendly! Got a glass of red wine and enjoyed it on the porch. Beautiful views! Headed to the pig races - hilarious and not to be missed! We launched a few apples in the giant sling shot and bought some canned goodies from the store. Pond Hill is a wonderful experience for both young and old - and those of us in between. Everyone is super friendly and make you feel at home!

Great family-run business in Northern Michigan. New brew house is awesome. Looking forward to growlers in 2015. Great selection of farm-to-table food stuffs. Wonderful staff. Can't say enough good things about this place. Check their web site for upcoming activities.

Great time here, great wine, very friendly service. Highly recommend. They offer many fun activities. Will return for the pig races (?). Check out their web site.

Stopped in on way back from UP. Great staff and lots of fall activities. The restaurant was such a zoo we skipped it. The market had us parting with some money for blueberry preserves and dark sweet cherries in can. Worth a break along the drone through Michigan's tunnel of trees. No one beats michigan for fall color.

We stopped in on our drive through the Tunnel of Trees (which is very nice, but curvy enough to make my wife car sick and many impatient locals to avoid.) We didn't have our kids along, so we didn't partake of the farm activities. The store was very rustic and chock full of private label goods. The produce looked top notch, and they have canned/produced about every thing under the sun. We just missed the cafe as it closed for the day at 3, but went ahead and had some beer and wine. (Could be the tunnel of trees after that wasn't the greatest idea?) My wife really like her Riesling, but I wasn't a fan of the beers. They were very creative, but I was really just looking for a good IPA. It looks like they are really going in a number of different directions with the farm - maybe it all works together?

We decided to try Pond Hill Farm after hearing rave reviews from a neighboring table at the previous brewery we visited. We were not disappointed! I tried the wine flight and my husband had the beer flight. Both were great. The standout was definitely the Peacemeal Rhubarb Porter! So unexpected and delicious. The staff was super knowledgable & friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Barn available for viewing farm animals held a few goats, a pig you were warned via a sign that would bit, a couple of sheep. Smell was awful-it was a cool breezy day, so it shouldn't have been an issue. A few piglets and a hog in a pen to look at. A giant slingshot that you paid $1 to shoot 4 squash. The cafe closed just before we arrived so can't review that. There was a trout pond on the property but we didn't see it. The whole place was underwhelming.

We've come here 2 summers in a row now; this year introducing friends of ours to the place. The squash rocket can't be beat for entertaining the kids. This year there were even sheep in the field to shoot out to! Kids also loved feeding the animals & fish & the lovely hay-free hayride. Us adults liked picking up some unique bottles of wine & cider & homemade jams. Last year we ate at the restaurant which was very good as well. A vacation to Harbor Springs isn't complete w/o a trip to Pond Hill Farms.

When we first pulled up I thought we had made a mistake! But we were wrong! We did some wine tasting and beer sampling. We ate at the little restaurant, which was fabulous! The kids shot potatoes with a monster size sling shot and LOVED it! The actually were aiming at sheep and my son got one. We also bought many farm products and wine to take home.

Farm animals are easy to get to, walk around the grounds, go inside the barn, and walk up the hill through the vineyard for a spectacular view of the countryside. The restaurant only serves lunch and is well worth a stop. The menu is fresh and unique and service is terrific. The market below the restaurant is a little overpriced for what they are offering but again unique offerings. Pet the dog.

This is a great place for kids (the animals and the hayrides are fun. We enjoyed sampling excellent wines and the amazing beer (eggplant!). The gentleman that makes the wine and beer is incredibly knowledgeable and worth the visit just to talk to him.

Sad to say we were disappointed with our visit to Pond Hill today. The only animals in the barn to feed were a pig with signs on his cage to not get too close because he bites, and two goats but one was in a small pen and we couldn't really see it. The chickens were neat but nothing spectacular. There weren't any pigs racing but two large hogs that were sleeping in the mud. The hard cider was delicious and it was definitely the best of the stops along the Trail of Trees but we didn't do any wine tasting because they were too busy. With three children (ages 7mos to 15 years) we were hoping for more. Nice for a visit but nothing to make a special trip out of the way for.
