Limited hours and It's very crowded on Saturdays. age ranges from little ones to older elementary kids. Some parents just let the kids run wild and my little ones didn't feel comfortable after awhile. Rooms get dirty quickly and I don't think there's enough time for staff to go around and pick up after each mess.

This is a wonderful museum for children, and adults! Lots & lots of hands-on stuff to do. You could spend hours here, thoroughly investigating the items in each room.

A wonderful museum in New Haven but beware because their public hours are limited to Friday and Saturday from 12-5. There is a small snack room where you can take a break and have a snack that you brought from home, but no food is sold onsite. This a wonderful museum with many different themed rooms including a recreation of the actual Great Green Room from "Goodnight Moon". It feels as though you have jumped into the book! On Saturdays they have an afternoon story hour and usually give out free copies of whatever book they read. It is well worth the price of admission! Lots to touch and do and learn hands-on! Another thing to know before you go is that they only take cash or checks - no plastic.

My kids really enjoyed it. When we went they had lots of hands on stuff for them to do.

Details were a little skimpy and Wall Street was unmarked, but we trudged here with our toddler and it was worth it. Pricing was $22.50 for the 3 of us, babies under 1 are free but mine is just over. Cash or check only. Moderately clean but lovely array of toys for all ages. Life sized The Great Green Room from Goodnight Moon was the highlight for me. Also loved the viewable bee hive. Music room was great, too. We had a lovely afternoon there and would recommend it to anyone with kids under 10 or so.
