Honestly there is not much to see but it is well taken care of and it really is beautiful in the surrounding area. Every time I visit Evanston I always take a walk to this museum and old train depot. It just really cool and great History.

Historical events, Native American Lore, Trains, and super friendly staff! Best of all it's free parking and admission! Lot's to see and do within walking distance!

This small town has done so much with the wonderful roundhouse and other associated railroad buildings. We have been to several events in the Roundhouse and Machine Shop, and it's hard to believe that such spectacular venues exist here. Note that these buildings are not always open to the public.

It is beautiful,this was were the all alumni party was. It is simply wonderful place. The museum shows the conditions of working for the railroad,and even though I am a railroad family,I still found it fascinating.

We spent half a day visiting the Unita County Museum, the Joss House (Chinese museum), the train depot and the roundhouse which are all within walking distance in the Historic downtown area. The last 2 had been beautifully restored. I enjoyed the day very much since I like history and architecture. They're free of charge (donation accepted). Historic downtown Evanston is very pleasant place to walk around. It has a nice small town feel to it.
