We have a fairly decent home theater so we tend to stay home and watch movies on Blu Ray, even most 3d movies. However, every once in a while there is a movie that needs to be seen "big". The Hobbit, Guardians of the Galaxy and interstellar come to mind. The IMAX does an amazing job on those movies.

After reading the book, this movie was brilliant with its imagery and bringing the action scenes to life.

My wife and I spent the morning at the zoo and then took in Lemurs of Madagascar at the IMAX. The theatre and lobby are in need of a face lift as they are noticeably aged. It was fieldtrip season, so there were many children climbing over seats and one almost stepped on my new camera, but I rescued it just in time. The movie was great and we enjoyed our time there.

The theater was like any other Imax. We saw the Lemur's of Madagascar in 3D which was done very well although some of the stories theories seemed a little far fetched. Overall, not bad at all

This theater is gigantic. Huge and a lot of seating. I am not much into 3D movies, However I saw Transformers: Age of Extinction in 3D and it was beautiful. Stop by the theater after a great day at the zoo. Make sure to get a spot right in the center and please, don't bring young kids if they are going to talk.

This theatre was so clean. That is a huge plus in my book . There usually tends to be a line for a movie but in bigger cities that is expected which no big deal they have things to do while wait. They also have a gift shop that I loved definitely more things for kids but it keeps the young ones occupied! Beautiful theatre ,wonderful staff, great place to go

We are so lucky to have the IMAX so very close to home~! There is nothing like seeing a movie on that big screen, except in 3D~! Our family has been enjoying it for years~!!

I am so sorry that your experience here was anything less than great. This is certainly not how we strive to operate and I completely agree with you, that it was not handled properly. It was a very nice film we enjoyed. The facilities were clean and the prices were quite reasonable. It was a nice break in the day from walking the Zoo all day

This is my nearest Imax Theater and there are some movies just worth the extra coin to see in Imax. Specifically, SciFi and Nature movies lend themselves so well to this venue.I have seen about 8 movies at Great Clips IMAX Theatre. The most recent was "Pacific Rim". I really enjoy going at around 3 or 4 in the afternoon on Friday, opening day. Not busy.

This is a great place to see movies and take a cool break on a hot summer day! The extra price is worth it and you get a bit of break if you are member. The seats on the top middle are the best!

My husband and I have seen a couple of films here, the theater doesn't seem any better than your average theater. Sometimes they do have special films though that are not available anywhere else, and those are why we come here.

Recently saw the new James Bond movie on the IMAX and is was great! I would suggest showing up early as when we showed up about 20 minutes early there was a line. The seats were not as comfortable as newer theaters but the size of the screen makes up for any shortcomings. Incredible sound as well. We sat pretty far back and really enjoyed the view although sitting closer might be a problem for some. They do have concessions as well and even serve beer I think.

Went to see the new James Bond movie, Skyfall. Not a bad seat in the house. Have been to this theater to see other movies and have always had a good experience.

I was surprised to see some lackluster reviews of this theatre. The fact is, this is the biggest IMAX screen in the state, standing at six stories high. The video and audio quality is high.I went online to buy the ticket, so when I checked in all I had to do was give my name and get handed a ticket. Admittedly it was a matinee midweek, but there was no line to speak of, and the auditorium was almost empty.The staff were polite and courteous. The movie was SkyFall which looked excellent on this huge curved screen. Sound was great too. They have the usual over-priced concessions, and a limited selection of alcohol which one can enjoy responsibly from a plastic cup while watching the movie.Parking was free and just a few steps from the entrance. They also offered specials for zoo and show combos.I've not taken a tour of all the movie theaters in this town. Nor have I tried a 3D movie at this theatre. But I was pleased with an afternoon of Bond and my IMAX experience.
