I shop the Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market on a regular basis. The market is open every Tuesday from May through the Tuesday before Thanksgiving from noon to 4 p.m. Local farmers sell their fruits and vegetables. Some of the businesses in town have stalls set up where you can purchase handmade pasta, bread, hand harvested honey, eggs and even locally grown and produced lavender products. There is one farmer who offers fresh lamb, beautiful wool blankets and sheep skins. There are all sorts of prepared foods such as sandwiches and cupcakes to carry out or eat there. The market is situated just on the edge of the local park as you enter town. There is some parking in the small lot in front of the park but parking is definitely at a premium. If I can't find a parking space I usually park at a meter and walk a block to the market. Quite often there is live music.

This is a wonderful market. The vendors are friendly. Lots of fresh produce, breads and pastries, jams and jellies, beautiful crafts, and delicious prepared foods to eat (or sample). The tents are all lined up along a nice walkway. (great for strollers, walkers, or wheel chairs) There is a nice bathroom that is handicap accessible. Right next to the market, is a playground. This market is great for the whole family. You could easily spend a couple of hours here. There are benches to sit on, and there is usually an entertainer singing or playing the guitar. The Rehoboth Market is also a great place for lunch. There is a vendor that grills porterhouse burgers and salmon burgers. They are delicious. You can also find soups, sandwiches and wraps, and Davidson's Mushrooms always has THE most delicious samples!

From the piper piping to all the great exhibits and the tremendous array of fresh and prepared foods, the RBFM is the best in mighty Delaware.Phenomenal job of organizing and winning community support by Market Master Pat Coluzzi1

What a pleasant surprise! This market exceeded my expectations by a mile. The vendor lineup in their tasteful tents were vending a variety of wares and produce. One that interests me was a sheep farm from MD selling blankets made from their sheep wool, and other items.A bakery sold a fruit cake that weighted in a 5 lbs - still eating that.Suggest you have lunch at the market, creative food preparations are plentyful. Also pick up your fresh vegetables.Normally open only on Tuesdays from noon sharp to 4:00 p.m., but soon closing until Spring.Located at Grove Park right at the roundabout. Parking is definitely an issue, probably impossible in the high season. So come early and bring money.http://rbfarmersmarket.com/

We visited the Rehoboth Beach Farmer's Market on a Tuesday. What a great experience. The setting is along a shady path and vendors are on both sides with plenty of room to walk along the center area with all the shoppers. The market is located in the area of the circle as you enter Rehoboth Beach. At the market you are able to purchase everything from pasta to oysters or produce to holiday wreaths, frozen fish, coffee, hamburgers fresh off the grill, popcorn, and so much more. If you are in the area when the market is open on Tuesday, this is a great place to spend an hour sampling some of the best of the local produce and fish and specialty items unique to the area.

We visit the Rehoboth Farmer's Market whenever we're at the beach. We love the variety of vendors and the presentation of there produce or other wares they might be selling. The bag pipe player, guitarist, and local artists that were there during our latest visit also added to our enjoyment. A great event in a beautiful setting. We only wish it opened earlier!

First off, it was in a good location, Grove Park, a ways away from the hubbub of the boardwalk but it had a steady stream of customers. It was a nice, leisurely one mile walk from our (rented) house. The kids were rewarded after shopping with a visit to the adjacent playground! Plus, I was comforted by the pavillion areas and the visitor's center because there was the threat of rain and the market goes rain or shine!Secondly, there was a broad range of vendors of fruits (we got some amazing peaches and blueberries), veggies (yummy squash and zucchini), baked goods (zucchini muffins and rustic raisin loaf), plus a host of meat and other specialty shops. Finally, I learned a lot about the local community and products (I generally associate peaches with Georgia, but no more! Delaware peaches are amazing!). What a great experience!

This farmers market is only open on Tuesday, and I am sure glad that I was able to go. It was a spur of the moment thing, and I was pleasantly surprised. We went around 1 and there was a great crowd. I have been to several farmers markets and with the exception of one in Charleston it was the best. They had an assortment of fruit vendors as one does. There was also live music, a pasta stand, honey stand, flower stand, rice pudding stand, baked goods, and many others. I asked to taste the cappuccino rice pudding, and he gave me practically a spoonful. I bought that, and a delicious looking blueberry muffin for the morning. Also, if you need to use the restroom, the Visitor Center is right there for use. I plan on going again next Tuesday.

A delightful market! Great variety of products, many samples available. Most vendors have great prices, some way too high. We got there a few minutes before noon and had a great deal of difficulty finding a place to park. Incredibly crowded, but as I said in my title, "too good to miss"!

My daughter and I walked up Rehoboth Avenue to the Farmers Market, which is a bit before the bridge on the right going out of town. Tuesday is the day it is open. He has the most marvelous scents one can imagine. They feature homemade guacamole, (they make it right before your eyes!) Yum! We bought cherry tomatoes, raspberries, and blueberries...each one less than 24 hours away from harvesting. They provide many samples. Wonderful yogurt, cheeses, breads...all homemade! Lots of flowers, too. A happy experience.

The farmer's market has grown each year and it's better than ever. I attended the first of of the season and in spite of a cold and drizzly day, it was well attended and the vendors were cheerful and appreciative of the support. The first Tuesday of the month they have a cooking demo which you can taste but each week there are plentiful samples to enjoy and purchase. There were many organic choices and all the fruits and veggies looked beautiful. I'm looking forward to even more wonderful things as the season progresses. If you're visiting Rehoboth on a Tuesday make sure you stop by and if you have small children, there's plenty of room for strollers and there's a playground right there.

bring your own recyclable bags or purchase them at the farmer's market and get ready to shop along the tree shaded promenade of white tented booths of this charming farmer's market in this gem of a beach town. whether it is seasonal fruits and veggies, farm fresh eggs, local baked goods, plants, flowers, mushrooms, lavandar products, meats or local seafood you are in search for or a cooking demo from local chefs, this farmer's market is a must for locals as well as tourists. imagine that first bite of a fifer's orchard peach or cooling off with organic ice cream while sampling cheeses made from local cows. the bagpipes kick off the start at noon so come early to buy the best. it gets pretty crowded, but the parking restrictions on local streets close to the market are lifted from noon until 4pm. ask one of the local officers directing traffic so you do not get a parking ticket. i plan to go today, see you there!

I would have rated this 3 stars, just okay had I reviewed the market last year, in fact I didn't even bother going during the tourist season this summer. Mistake! So many more vendors now, friendly people and things to taste and feel. Dog friendly too.Cheery and clean, There are the expected organic fruit and veggies, fresh lamb meats and skins, gelato, seafood, nuts, salsa, & guacamole. Touch of Italy and other local favorite restaurants have booths too. It starts later, which I prefer, so bring your dog and your insulated bag and visit! There is a nice park too so if you have kids with you they will be happy. Parking is tight, be prepared to walk a couple of blocks away.

Great variety of fruits and vegetables from the area farmers. Plants, bread and such available as well. Well located just outside of the main downtown.
