I went here during my 2014 birthday road trip. It was probably the best stop during that trip. I showed up early and was the only one there. The museum curator was just out walking his dog and told me to go in by myself and wonder around and take as many photos as I wanted. This is a must stop if traveling through Kentucky.

They say it's haunted. I went also several years ago late one afternoon and found a paranormal investigation team setting up for a visit that night. I was invited to stay and DiD! I can safely say some things happened that night that can't be explained.

Visited the Octagon Hall Museum on a Thursday. It is unlike any other historic attraction I've been to in that they allow & encourage photography of the house, the grounds, anything! They definitely are proud of the supernatural happenings at the house and there are many photographs with anomalies in them proudly displayed in the rooms where the photos were taken. The tour was very laidback, but we were encouraged to touch things, open doors, really look at everything in the house. Out back, there were a couple of cemeteries and a few other buildings on the grounds. It is well worth the drive & admission to see this magnificent building.

This attraction has great potential as far as Civil War history goes, however, it seems to be focusing on the nonsensical subject of ghosts. Also, needs to be cleaned up - sad to see this fine old building taken care off that way. Could be a really great historical site...

I have always wanted a circle house! The morning before we left bowling green, the TV was on Sci-Fi. There was a episode on that featured this house. I looked up on the map and it was kinda on our way home! It was worth the extra 15 minutes! I love the history, the feel. The care takers are awesome and laid back. I would so live here if I had the chance! I will definably be back! I just wish my camera was with me!!

We recently visited Octagon Hall, and I tell you.....as soon as we pulled into the driveway, we could feel vibes! What a beautiful piece of history, and even caught a few interesting photos. The people there were friendly, helpful, kind, and had some interesting pics, EVP'S, and videos they showed me. I love to ghost hunt, and this place would be awesome to investigate!! I am currently in the process of getting a group together and go. IF you are in the area....make sure you take the time to view this beautiful piece of history. You will not be disappointed!!

This building has an interesting history and is supposedly haunted. It was cool to be able to walk around on a self-guided tour to look around, however the place could use a good dusting. It doesn't seem to be taken care of very well. There are also 2 small cemeteries on site that are just a short walk away. I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Great fun on Halloween!!! Myself and friends of mine went their and left with headaches because we laughed so hard. Well worth checking out.

The Octagon Hall is a place to visit if you like the unusual. The design, the interior and lets not forget the Ghost. Interesting way to spend the afternoon. Civil War reenactments take place here.
