My parents and I visited the Jenney Museum and took the walking tour. We had such a wonderful time. My parents are older and it was not too much walking. The stops were full of insightful information about the founding of our country. It was the highlight to our trip. My parents are still ranting and raving about it and we visited six months ago.

Not much to see on inside. Mill was not working, not sure if it ever will. No grinding demonstrations. Not worth interior admission. Good photo opportunities outside. Herring run beside it a must see in early spring. Jenny Pond across from museum a favorite to view bird life ( swans, ducks, geese) and turtles. Large FREE parking no time limit, within walking distance to Water St. attractions!!

Took the general tour of Plymouth from Leo - it was just as good as we'd hoped. Fascinating details & information shared on this hour-plus long tour. Would highly recommend this tour. I'm sure the others offered were excellent too, but time did not allow us to take more than one.

The Jenney Museum tour is my favorite historical attraction in Plymouth. I have been on this tour about 10 times, as I take my fourth graders on a field trip there each year. I've also been with friends and family and am never disappointed. Leo and Nancy run the museum and the walking tour. They created the museum from scratch, after having to move from the actual Jenney Grist Mill to a nearby building. The tour is extremely informative and I always learn something new. Leo is always willing to answer the students' questions and is able to keep their attention throughout the tour. Downtown Plymouth is a beautiful place. This tour takes you through Brewster Gardens with it's bubbling springs, to the Plymouth Rock which is by the harbor, past several historical monuments and many buildings with great historical significance. The amazing history of these gems comes to life as Leo shares his wealth of knowledge. If you've ever wondered where sayings such as, "It's raining cats and dogs." or "Keep your nose to the grindstone." come from then this is the tour for you. This tour is excellent for families or groups interested in the history rooted in America's Hometown.

My husband and I did the pilgrim economics tour which was so interesting! Leo had us so intrtigued with his vast knowledge and witty stories. It was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable; I would recommend it highly. It and Plimoth Plantation were the best oart of our trip. Loved it,

I visited here based on trip advisor reviews and expected this to be a tour. Instead, I paid $6 to watch a film about the mill next door. Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting film that was very well done, but "museum" isn't really the right term to use as there's little to it - just two small rooms and a gift shop. Next time I'll be sure to take their walking tour as it seems very well rated. But I'd skip the museum and that is what I'm basing my rating on.

Our visit to Jenney Grist Mill was one of many we have made both in UK and in New England. This visit was by far the best as not only did we learn the history of the mill but also have a demonstration of how it worked. This involved the process from stopping the water flow in order to position the upper grinding stone above the lower one, followed by starting the water flow and watching the grinding process begin to work and then seeing the grain emerge and gradually appear in increasing levels of finess. The people explaining the intricate process were not only skilled in the way it worked but also entertaining in explaining what they were doing with humour. It was a very entertaining experience.

Leo and Nancy have done a fantastic job bringing this wonderful tour together. They are lovely people who make you feel comfortable and genuinely enjoy what their museum and tours have to offer. We learned more about the pilgrims and early settlers of the United States in one hour than we did in all of our K-12 years. Don't be mistaken that Plymouth is some drive-thru town. It's the heart of where America was born and Leo really brings you back to that time in US history. You'd be doing yourself a disservice to be anywhere near Plymouth and not take Leo's tour.

This is a very small place, the building itself is the historical part, the exhibits was extremely small as part of the museum was closed off. They have a small shop in the museum. Admission was by donation. Not really worth a stop, you can read about the building in one of the guide books.

Jenney House Museum offers a rare, succinct glimpse into the values, ideas and priorities that proved foundational to the forming of our country. The docents are knowledgeable in Plymouth and Pilgrim history and are quick to help a visitor know how best to approach both areas of interest. Its book store is one of very few places in Plymouth and the surrounding area to sell original source writings of the Pilgrims. Jenney House is also remarkable for some of the wood used in its construction; it has beams and other structural lumber "repurposed" from the Pilgrims' first permanent meeting house and fort built in the 1620's!

We had an amazing experience. Our guide, Leo, walked around Plymouth and told us the story of the Pilgrims and showed us all the important landmarks. It took about an hour and a half. I learned a lot about the Pilgrims. I would recommend it to anyone, especially families with children or homeschool families. You will get the real story.

Leo is a passionate tour guide and knows his stuff! The tour was well worth the $10. This tour is a good place to start your PLymouth visit.

I live in the area and make it a point to check out all the historical locations around me. I love visiting this place in the spring, specifically when the herring are running. This is a great piece of history. It goes hand in hand with Brewester Park. Great place to picnic! Love walking in this area after dinner.
