The allegany county library system has tons of events for adults and children.. everything is listed on their website.. they have computer classes for adults, book clubs for all ages, events involving local artists for kids and many more events..

I;ts a Library. Nice atmosphere. Very helpful staff. Kids have a very inviting area that makes you want to curl up with a book.

The librarians are extremely helpful. The Cumberland building is historic and pleasant to be in. They have a lot of community programs. It's easy to search for a reserve books on-line or in person. I wish they had a little more access to certain things (sheet music, scripts) but for a small town library, it's a treasure.
