Took about every brochure there was in the place. They had maps, activity ideas etc etc. Helpful employees and it's in the middle of the town so it's quite easy to find

Staff here were very good to deal with. Their knowledge was excellent and they were able to point us in the right direction. Gave us lots of choices of things to see and do around the area. For anyone with little knowledge of the area this is the place to go.

We almost missed our tour because of a lack of communication between the team members. We visit a lot of Information Centres (make a point of doing it so we know what is going on in the local area) - to be fair it was a busy day and we were in a hurry.

We arrived at Ararat midday Saturday 28 oct. wish I could have remembered to gentleman who helped us. He answered our questions and added more information which we took into consideration but didn't think we would use them. We drove on to halls gap. On our return we decided to do all the helpful gentleman had advised us. Goes to show that even though you may think you don't need the extra information at that time, you just may use it latter and be thankful. Thankyou again for all the wonderful help.

Very helpful staff with lot of knowledge eager to answer your questions. Maps brochures and pamphlets in abundance will help you make your choices easier. Lots of lovely gifts and souvenirs also.

We are staying at Greenhills lake Ararat and would recommend to anyone that wants to camp cheap (donation) and loves water.The only critisisms I have are the fact that people do not read signs and camp passed non camp areas,do not comply with lead on and leash free areas nor do owners pick up after their pets,petty annoyances but if everyone did as asked it makes for more pleasurable camping.
