Very intersting and detailed info on the history of coffee in the area the plants, the growing, the process, and how they are trying different things in different ways to mske it work. Feels like you are a part of it as the tours are financing the farm and they only have limited coffee to offer to try snd buy. A good morning.

We stayed at the Plantation House for 4 nights which made this a free tour for us.From 9am to ~12:15 we had a very good time and learnt a lot from Tim about coffee and growing in Colombia. I highly recommend the tour and can't wait until he gets the grow website going, I'll be signing straight up!Thanks for a great morning!

Excellent tour and really helpful guide: young guy who lived in Cardiff and Portugal. Well worth both the time and the cost, but, the coffee is expensive, but a quality product.

I did the English language tour, which was excellent. Tim, a British born coffee farmer, is a highly personal tour guide that provides everything you need to know about coffee in an interactive and engaging way. Coffee tasting is included in the tour, and his coffee is delicious. In addition, he provided insight into other activities around the city. Overall, I highly recommend to any non-Spanish speakers.

I had a few hours in the morning before having to catch a bus and I wanted to go to a coffee farm but didn't want to go out of town and be rushed. Went to Plantation House, 5 mins from where I was staying, checked when their tour started, (9.00 am in English) had just enough time to go back to my hostel and change my shoes for the muddy walk down to the coffee farm (10 mins from Plantation House). Don Eduardo was personable and obviously passionate about what he does. The tour was interesting and the tasting at the end (complete with de-skinning beans, roasting and grinding) topped it off nicely (although the demonstration is done in Spanish but am sure you can get the gist of what's happening just by watching. I had to leave to get my bus (nb it takes longer on way back as it's uphill) but rest of group stayed back and had opportunity to wander around, do some walking etc. It was 20,000 for non-residents. I felt it was worth it.

Such a good tour interesting stories, really informative and interesting. We loved the coffee best cup we've ever had. The scenery is so beautiful worth saving the time to stay and have a walk around after.

VERY good half day activityIf u are a Guest at plantation house it is almost for free.he tells u all u need to know and u can taste fresh coffee. One of the best cup i every had.

Great tour in English! Beautiful scenery! The information is on a reasonable level and the people on the farm are very warm and friendly. Can strongly recommend it.

Great guided tour by Tim who is a fund of knowledge on coffee and local attractions. Good value for money if you are an English speaker, like Tim.

Tim (Don Eduardo) was a really knowledgeable guide and really personalised the tour. As a native English speaker, he was able to give lots of info not only about how to produce coffee but why certain processes etc were used. Delicious coffee too! Would highly recommend as it was excellent value.

Beautiful scenery, good coffee and a great guide. Tim (english speaking) gives you a tour through his fantastic plantation, explaining in a very interesting way the whole process of coffee production. I loved every bit of it,highly recommendable!!

Even tough u pay 10000 pesos more, the fact that tim speaks english is a huge advantage. Really informative And a Great tour. Really enjoyed IT.

I've taken a coffee tour before but Don Edwardo (English? Australian?) is a really great talked who provides lots of great information (never knew that bamboo needs a "hat" and "shoes" to not rot :)Worth the 20.000COP. Even better if you stay @ Plantation and get a discount.

Tim was great! Really informative and as a natural English speaker it really made the tour much more informative for us (but they also do it in Spanish at other times). From choosing the type of beans to growing them and processing them he have a good world and local view. We then did blind taste test of two types of beans, both freshly roasted. The farm was also great to walk around which we could do at our leisure. As a must you should also go to La Eliana (local restaurant just round the corner run by Jesus) and do his coffee preparation course and learn all about making a fantastic cup of coffee. If your lucky (we were) he'll share some of his homemade coffee liquor!

Tim gives a comprehensive insight into the process from the soil to to your cup. He is a very likable and interesting chap which makes it even more enjoyable. - A must do when in town!However, he claims to have grown up in Australia, hard one to pass off with that pome accent Timo!
