Huge building, leaves you wondering whay something so large was built. High ceilings inside, and fairly sparsely decorated (only two small stained glass windows). Bells ring every hour (7 minutes early for some reason).

The largest brick built church in Europe. You could easily spend an hour in here. The church has many interesting artefacts. We were taken as part of a walking tour and returned for further inspection. I particularly liked the wooden statues that had adorned the original organ, which are on display at ground level. It was hard to believe that the Astronomical Clock had been dismantled and hidden during the war. Lots to see, but a guide give the details.

This very old massive church cannot be missed as it dominates the main town. Arguably the largest brick church in Europe. As you enter be amazed by all the windows, chapels and tombstones and it also boast an astronomical clock. Must see.

Beautiful church inside and out...the rebuilding after the second world war...amazing job. Poland should be proud of the work to renew these buildings for the world to see.

Situated in the Old Town, this is one you have to visit. The largest basilic in Europe and it is stunning. The interior walls are massive and the ceilings are very very high. SOme great and stunning artefacts and paintings.Only thing is: inside was colder than outside in january!

The biggest brick church in the world . In the old town, easy to find. Not so interesting I think . 10 minutes is eneugh .

The vast brick built church has been largely rebuilt after wartime damage and contains many wonderful monuments and altar pieces although it would originally have been jam packed with them. it is basically plastered and whitewashed throughout which I am sure would not have been its original finish but it does allow the monuments to stand out. raised side chapels and central font platform.

Good cardio to climb the 407 stairs. Nice view on a sunny day well worth it. Rather narrow at some parts if you have a problem with those sort of things.

Amazing space and structure with lots interesting elements. A unique building, vast space and amazing height.

Other than town hall this is the nicest looking building on the outside. Inside it's very tall and plain, not much to look at. 4 zl to enter, 5 to climb into the tower and see the view of the city. Nothing awe inspiring and not baroque and extravagant like you see in many other areas of Europe. There's not much to do in this city, so might as well burn up 20 minutes for a few cents.
