This is a great place to swim and play for all ages. The slide is good. Water temperature is comfy. Great pools indoor and outdoor. The outdoor poor closes earlier than the indoor pool (which is open to 9.30 pm!). We ate at the Italian restaurant at the pool, this was also excellent.

The swimming pool in Altdorf is outside the downtown core. From the Telldenkmal / Rathausplatz, take Bus number 1 in the direction of Flüelen and stop at Moosbad. The pool complex has indoor and outdoor pool areas with the outdoor area only open in the summer. Inside has a 25mtr pool for laps, a water slide and a 1 & 3 mtr diving board. There is is well as a smaller pool for playing around in that is extra warm on Friday's. Outside is the new highlight that many people love. One of the only wave pools in central Switzerland. Once an hour for 10 min the waves get turned on. While there are bigger wave pools it still is lots of fun for young and old. Outside has as big slide and a baby play pool and a huge lawn, bring your own umbrella as there is no shade. The price is quite good 9.50 Fr. for an adult for the whole day and children under 6 are free. Overall a good pool complex with something for everyone. We will keep coming back.
