Perast is a lovely place to sit by the water and enjoy the fantastic mountain snow capped mountains in January. It's a small place to explore but, has lots of photo opportunities. The tower is the main attraction in the town and also Our Lady of the Rocks.

The church is the main attraction here, whilst we didnt go inside we spent time admiring the view across the bay infront of the church. The town is closed to tourists for much of the high season and we were lucky to go through it in the first week it opened. Very picturesque and worth a visit.

The church locates just across the square where the boat tours from Kotor would stop by. For the people who wants to visit Perast cheaper, take a Blue Line bus traveling Herceg Novi to Kotor area. This big church has a nice clock tower. Inside, there is a big treasury rooms inside. It costs 1€ for the entrance, but you can see an inner chapel area which is quite large and beautiful with the top glass windows' lighting.There is a candle offering area and the candle is .20€ cent each. It would be good for the tourists to lit a candle for their safety of traveling and such, you know. Also, the clerk collecting the entrance fee is selling some books (Croatian, German, English, etc), rosaries, post cards and such related with the church.

This is the main atraction of Perast besides the two islands. The church is very nice and so is the tower. Be carefull when you climb the stairs in the tower because in some places you can hit your head, however going upstairs it's much easier than going downstairs. I gave 4 stars because they charge 1 euro for visiting the church and 1 euro for visiting the tower but they dont give you any ticket even if you ask them to.

I was there in October and everything was closed. I arrived early in the morning, driving from Dubrovnik to Bar Montenegro. The small town of Perast is beautiful. Just wished i could have seen more. The town itself is worth a stop as it is very Picturesque

I agree with the previous reviewer - the view from the top of the bell tower is amazing! The stairs would be difficult for anyone who hasn't got steady mobility as there isn't a hand rail going all the way, and if you are tall you will have to bend your head a few times (esp when coming down). But the views at the top are amazing and should not be missed.

Amazed no-one has recommended this - pay one euro to climb the church belfry at St Nikolas Church - its a hair-raising climb and not for the faint-hearted due to the inadequate handrail around the central well (don't look down!) but the views of the bay, the mountains, the islands, the town and are absolutely amazing. Not to be missed, so long as you have a head for heights and accept health and safety is not a priority here!

Прекрасное место для пешей прогулки. На самостоятельную экскурсию ушло около часа. Получили большое удовольствие от подьёма на колокольню церкви Св. Николая. С неё открывается прекрасный вид на город и залив, где находятся два острова: Святого Георгия и Госпа од Шкрпела

Отличный вид со смотровой площадки впрочем как и везде в Перасте! Правда лестница старовата и подниматься по ней страшновато)))

Пераст очаровательный маленький город, по которому приятно гулять. Практически самой высокой точкой в Перасте является колокольня церкви св. Николая. Ступенек вверх много, потолки низкие - надо беречь голову, но вид на все четыре стороны стоит того. Красота.

Очень красивая церковь в Перасте с высочайшей колокольней, чтобы подняться на нее нужно заплатить 1 евро, но это стоит того - виды открываются невероятные, но и сама церковь стоит посещения - рекомендую!!!

За вход с нас взяли 1 евро. подниматься достаточно высоко, проходы узкие и низкие. Моим мужчинам было достаточно сложно и подняться и спуститься. Да и я набила пару шишек при спуске. С высоты виден весь город как на ладони, и оба острова. Очень красивый вид!

Проезжая мимо просто остановитесь на площадке. или спуститесь вниз к собору и колокольне. Просто постойте и посмотрите. Полюбуйтесь простором, великолепными видами. Получите удовольствие от увиденного!
