For what it is, this is an excellent way to spend the day with our 6 grandchildren. Most rides are probably more appropriate for kids under 10.-- but older kids probably could enjoy with younger siblings. Lines were very short. I have seen people write "over-priced carnival rides." -- Have you been to a carnival lately? It is $2 or MORE PER RIDE! The kids rode and rode and rode here!!! They certainly got their money's worth! Ate at the place with a grill. Burgers came fresh off the outdoor gas grill. Prices were fine for an amusement park. It was clean, cozy and compact. Didn't exhaust ourselves walking miles and miles! Animals were fun. Kids REALLY enjoyed the canary's. The kids are already talking about this summer ... even the one who will be 11 because he enjoys spending the day with his cousins, and isn't overly adventurous. Didn't have to worry about tons of people and watching the kids in the crowds ... we could always see them. We have gone two years in a row, and looking forward to doing it again.

My daughter's school had a day here last summer... it was a great day as the lines weren't long and the kids could try whatever rides they wanted. But there was a little of everything... a carousel, cars to drive, carnival rides, horse rides, hay rides, animals to pet, and standard fair food to eat. It's not Six Flags but for the right age of child this is a perfect alternative to more imposing venues. All the employees were great and willing to help kids even if they were scared or nervous. My kids are 5 and 2 so keep that in mind. I don't know that I would take kids over 8 here as they might get bored. But it's perfect for the younger crowd.

Enjoy some vintage rides here and a wonderful petting zoo. This place is great for kids under ten. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and the ground are well kept. We love to take our grandkids here. Fun for the whole family!

My parents had taken me to this place as a child and when it still had 2 other parks with it. Santa's Village reminds me of a carnival or county fair with less food vendors and a hint of Christmas theme thrown in. It is by no means a Christmas wonderland but most of the rides are for children about 5 years and younger. My 6 year old loved it last year but this year seemed to have outgrown it. The bumpers cars are the hardest hitting that I've ever experienced. Older children will be disappointed as most of the park is geared toward the young crowd. It is fun, the employees are nice and the atmosphere is quite relaxing.

We went again for or yearly visit with our grandson and again another wonderful time. They have added a few new things to do which was good, the fun house was not open that day which he missed also the larger coaster still was'nt open. The bumper cars was his favorite this year and of course the Santa is one of the best. We really enjoy are yearly trip and will return.

We had a groupon for half off so I don't feel too bad it wasn't what I expected! My daughter was bummed the "big" roller coaster was not up and running yet (should have checked prior). It was pretty busy and the lines were uncontrolled and too long. Multiple times we had people budge because of no order to lines. Rides are not much more than carnival rides and pretty run down. Petting zoo was neat with camels! The kids had fun which is what mattered most. I am just not sure I would pay almost 20 a person to go back when we have many other choices around.

Love this place! We have SIX grandchildren under the age of four! They all love this place! Of course, we need to take a couple parents (our grown kids) along, but this wonderful attraction makes a great field trip for the little kiddies. Prices are reasonable, washroom facilities are clean, the grounds are kept up, and the people working there are very nice and friendly. Lots of new and vintage rides and the petting zoo park has been nicely extended. Be sure to visit the turtles and bird house. My grandsons loved feeding the canaries. Can't wait to go again!

My wife and I had visited Santa's Village in October 2014. It is a very nice, small amusement park. I had never been there previously, but from what my wife said, it has not changed much in 20+ years. The prices for everything are considerably cheaper than a Six Flags Great America (which is nice), but the size is far less as well. The main highlight to our trip here was to see the animals in the Petting Zoo. They were so cute and adorable -- sheep and goats will follow you trying to get feed from your hands (a cup of feed is only $1.00 a piece). Watch out for the Llama -- if you stand too close to him and are not paying attention, he will try and grab the cup from your hand -- the llama did this to me, and I gently pulled the cup from him and saved half of my feed. Other animals such as the donkey and cow are beautiful -- the donkey (who sits near the llama in an adjoining fenced area) is very gentle and will suck the feed from your fingers. The cow is very sweet -- all animals let you pet them, and are very friendly. All in all, it is a fun, small park. If you have young children, that is how you will spend the most time. My wife and I were there for around an hour, but if we had children, I could see spending a whole day here. The food and the rides are geared (mostly) for children. If we have kids, we will definitely come back. Thank you!

Went to Santas Village today for the first time in 30 years and I couldn't be happier. You need to have the correct expectations... It is meant to be a carnival/petting zoo type amusement park for kids under the age of 7 or 8. It is perfect for preschoolers because unlike Great America they are not overwhelmed or constantly told they are too small for a ride. We went on a beautiful September Saturday with our 3 year old son and he loved it. They allow you to bring in your own food, which is amazing in this day and age. People aren't jumping out to try and sell you stuff, take your picture... Just feels like a day in an adorable park. My son rode old school rides that I rode in childhood and that is absolutely priceless to me. I treasure the vintage nature of the rides and yes, that means they aren't new, but that doesn't make them run down. The park was clean and classic. We didn't wait at all for some rides, some maybe 5 minutes. Food was available with no lines and cheaper than great America. Standard carnival type food, paid $3.50 for a hot dog. But remember, you can bring in your own and have a picnic, unlike Great America where you get searched for water bottles. Santa was absolutely a gem, even though my son was too scared to sit on his lap. And no photo person rushing you along, just us and santa chatting in his house. Animals in the petting zoo were not overly aggressive, feed cups were $1. This place is amazing, thank you so much to the new owners for reopening it and making it possible for me to share these memories with my kids.

I truly enjoyed this unique experience which combines great food, rides and animal exhibits. I was there with nine other family members ranging in age from grandparents to toddlers. We all had a great time and everyone hated to end the day and return home. It's was a blast and the children really enjoyed seeing Santa Claus and taking pictures with him.

We took my daughter here for her birthday turning 9 and she loved it! Plus, the rest of the family...my husband, my two other daughters 3yrs & 1yr and myself had a great time! The only thing that really upset us was we bought two different ICEE/slushies and there was chopped up bug pieces in both of them...it was so gross we didn't buy anymore food or beverages from there. I would definitely go there again but be bringing our own food and beverages. Hopefully this will be taken care of.

Granpa, Grandma, Daughter and two grandkids - boy 6, girl 8 visited Santa's Village in late August, 2014. Senior discounts, plus we printed out $4 off coupons from Santa's Village Website. All ages, but mostly younger kids thru maybe 10 years old were there. The great thing about it was that the rides and amusements were all free. Also, on the day we went, the linesw were short and you didnot have to wait long. Kids like animals, and there are alot of animals at Santa's Village. You do have to pay for little portions of food if you want to feed them. There are a couple of stores selling souvenirs, stuffed animals, and toys at not terrible prices. Food is fairly expensive for what you get. Buying to bottles of cold water cost us $6.00.What you want to do is bring a cooler and a lunch. There are picnic tables around to eat at or if full you could eat in your vehicle. Nicely maintained and the staff are very nice - not at all like weird carny people.Restrooms are a problem -- women's with the small kids - a line to wait for. Mens - big puddles of water in the mens room. They need more restrooms. Kids had a blast. The rides are great. They love the pony rides. Something for the adventurous and not so adventurous kid. Highloy recomended - but get those coupons from their website if available and bring your own food and drink! Oh and they have a stroller or wagon rental there.

Kids had a blast. $20 a person, you don't have to pay for any rides. I didn't like the petting zoo at all.

Santa's Village is the place to take the youngsters - probably best between 4 years old and 10 to 12. One admission price gets you on all rides and as many times as you want. Taking our 4 through 6 year old grandchildren is an adventure they truly love. The park is very clean and very well maintained. And they are constantly adding something new. It is not as large as the Santa's Village of 25 years ago, but it is a terrific place to take kids. The have a blast and so do the adults.

We took our 2 and 4 yr old Aug 16th and they loved it! Cost was not bad at all with $20 a person for 3 and over. You don't have to pay for any rides and we could even go on a few with them. They loved feeding the incredibly friendly animals in the barn yard and in the bird house! It was quite larger than what I expected. There were a few rides that definitely should of been fenced off instead of just roped off, they were dangerous and one time me 2 yr old (was end of day and he was tired) got loose from my grip and ran up to a very dangerous ride where he could of been seriously hurt. This could of been avoided with a fence (and a better grip on my part). Over all, I will definitely take the kids again and purchase a rental wagon for $7.
