space golf

I don't mean to bash a small business just trying to make it, but I feel like I should probably give some warning to people who are about to go here. My was really dying to go miniature golfing and this was pretty much the closest place around. We got there and there was a 20 minute wait so we hung around the game area+seating area. My first pet-peeve about the place was that when you want to play the games...it's 1 dollar for 4 TOKENS (not quarters)..no refunds. This type of stuff just bothers me because it's a blatant money-grab. Bad enough to charge 50 cents (err, 2 tokens) on a dumb game but then they want to stick you with worthless tokens if they go unused. Come on!The waiting area itself is pretty low-budget and looks pretty shoddy overall, even though there is a cool life-size Darth Vader there. You just kinda look around and think that it looks like a guy and his buddies put all this stuff up. After a 20 minute wait, we went back to the back part where the golfing is done. Let me just say, that I'm convinced that they do the "dark blacklight theme" so people can't see how shoddy the work is. Most of the holes are very very short and are basically just a hole and some brick pavers. The entire course is extremely short....and since it's so short and so small, they need to start people every 5 minutes so they aren't on top of each other. Well, that didn't help at all because we were on-top of the people in front of us and there were 2 groups on top of us waiting to golf. This just makes a nice leisurely activity with your kids into something where you're just rushing because there are so many people waiting...and it's so small that there is really no place to wait! There was an adult couple behind us and they were finishing these holes in like 20 seconds. It was only $25 so I wouldn't call it a total ripoff, but I would probably rather spend the money elsewhere still.

Very nice concept ... had some small children that loved it and the teenagers had a good time, too. Great indoor space for all ages - very reasonable and would go back again.

Stayed in Orland Park for a good week because my husband was out there for work and this was one of many places we had a blast at.Steve was very helpful at the front desk.I loved it and so did the kids.Very fun but would of liked it better if it wasn't such a tight space by mini golf.Won't be dissatisfied if you stop here I promise you that

This is just a fun place to spend an hour or so. The place lights up and has a lot of memorabilia to enjoy. Take the kids and make this a night they will remember.

We purchased a coupon through Groupon and decided to check it out. I am glad we did. My family had a blast. After our mini golf play we played in the small arcade they had. The only reason I didn't give it full stars is because it is very tight not much space between holes. We will be returning to play again in 3D.. my family can't wait. Excellent time ...

My boyfriend and I went on a date here and had a lot of fun, however, the place has some improvements to do on the course. Some of the holes were impossible to do because the course had minor problems. Should also cost a lil less. They do have an "arcade" area that consists of about 8-10 games.

This is a great little gem in Orland for an outing with the kids. My 4 year old son loves space, rockets, the moon et al and he thought it was the best thing ever. Gets all excited whenever we drive by and asks to go. Prices were reasonable and it's a nice fun time with the family.
