This is a great place to spend time with your friends or fsmily. This is one HUGE park. There are several activities to do here such as fishing, soccer, picnicing, several shelter houses, lots of hiking paths and trails. They just opened up a new section of the park to add to the many acres they all ready have. This is a must do and see if you are in town and need to relax.

Tawawa Park is truly a gem. It has soccer fields that are in fantastic shape, great trails and paths to walk while kids are at practice at said soccer fields, shelters for picnics, and a community swimming pool. I have lived in a number of towns and cities and Tawawa Park is the best municipal park I have ever seen.

Very well kept park system. Lots of trails to walk/hike. Fishing, wading, picnicking. Beautiful no matter what time of year you visit.

That is not just my opinion. I have talked with many who have moved here who share that view. Many trees, playgrounds, shelters, and trails all make this a place to see.

The park is basically a sports complex with soccer and baseball as the major attraction. It has a variety of trails gears for the mountian bike community. The are numerous Picnic Areas and play grounds for young children. The covered bridge is a nice vista. The little canal and lake is a nice touch with the creek. The park district should make it more Hiker friendly and have more geo caching opportunities. The Sports complex should be removed and this park would be an excellent jewel for sidney.

great location for family get togethers. The gazebo is great for a get together and is close to the kids play area. Plenty of room for sports and the pond for fishing.

192 Acre Park. Lots of trails, shelter houses, playgrounds, and scenery. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the area.

After a recent trip back to my "Hometown" of Sidney, Ohio...I had the opportunity to take a drive through this lovely park. I was so glad to see continuation of upgrades that is lending to bringing more and more use to this area. Of course, Big Rock is still my favorite as it brings back many memories of my long ago childhood and hikes out to see if I could get to the top. The addition of trees in the meadow to the front of this monolith, brought to Sidney by the ancient glaciers, is just beautiful. A lovely place to spend the day or just a quick drive to catch your breath.

My son and I wanted to talk a walk with some place that offered a variety of paths and scenery. Tawawa Park has a lot to see and do.

We love Tawawa Park! Acres and acres of paved and unpaved trails, a covered bridge, Big Rock, covered shelters, playgrounds, and beautiful scenery. Open to traffic during part of the year, it is easily accessible by foot or bike any time of year. We always enjoy this park.
