Go up Hwy 99 from airport, at 1st light in Junction City turn left, go down about 5 miles, turn right- follow signs. Lovely drive past sheep, llamas, goats, deer, farms, galleries. Go down the road a ways, and turn left and go up the drive. It is mostly paved, but there is a gravel bit. Big barn and winery with tons of seating in a room with fireplace and windows. Cute garden. One door leads to tasting room. Cute little cavern type hallway (nice, clean restrooms). Seating area for maybe 25. Some merchandise. Little bar where tastings are done. You taste about 6 wines, they make their own cheese here too. Tables for 6 or more and smaller ones too. Owner is SO VERY NICE, we went not knowing huge windstorm coming, she opened just for us. Wines very good (I don't drink but my friends loved them- try the Anna Sky- money pays for college fund for child). The whole place is very scenic, relaxing, pleasant. Grounds are lovely, people are very nice. A sweet, comfy way to spend a sunny spring or summer or fall afternoon. Nothing negative to say about any of it, ample parking, clean, pretty, tasty. A bit off the beaten track but only about 5 minutes from JC, and JC is only 6 miles north of the airport, so why not?
