searchlight historical museum

This was on my list of stops on today's day trip. It was a bit disappointing, but non the less interesting. The museum is very small but well organized. It is free and there is a self guiding tour which is helpful. It gives a nice summery of the early days of Clark County. It is easy to get to and Searchlight is a convenient stop. Glad I went, It is a one shot deal, so no return is planed.

Very impressed with this small museum. It is quite complete. Also stop at the Post Office it is friendly, informative and well run.

A satellite of the Clark County Museum but focusing on the Searchlight area. Probably not a place young children would enjoy - however, they do have a trail as well as the museum. We did not walk the trail so I can't share what that was like. A really nice museum and a nice way to spend a half hour or so.
