I had a great time at the brewery on a Tuesday night. In October, I was able to sit outside, listen to live music, and enjoy a beer. It was a solid experience. The porter is a solid choice. A great find in Bismarck.

Walked by in search of a restaurant and the patio drew us in. I think it was a Sunday evening. The place was not terribly busy, so we stopped in for a beer. Very impressed with their beer and how classy and nice the interior was. Nice job Laughing Sun -- I'll definitely make this a regular stop when I am in the area.

We recently visited Bismarck and decided to check out the Laughing Sun, great choice. It is located in the downtown area, with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was excellent and the staff was very welcoming. Food is not available, but you are welcome to order from restaurants nearby. If you like craft beers, you will love the Laughing Sun.

Laughing Sun was a perfect place to stop in Bismarck for a cold brew! They had a variety of beer to choose from and offered us pretzels as they don't have a food menu. It was a fun atmosphere and the service was excellent.

I heard about Laughing Sun when it opened a couple years ago, and this was my first visit to Bismarck since it opened. I don't recall what I ordered, but I went twice, and had the nightly special beers and was very very pleased! Just what Bismarck needed!

Laughing Sun offers music every night of the week and with a great selection of their own brews you cant go wrong! There is plenty of seating both inside and out but if you don't get there early you better be comfortable with standing. This place is always packed! They don't serve food, but you can order pizza from next door.

Downtown Bismarck has character and Laughing Sun Brewry is a great part of it. If you like to try the small craft beers don't forget this one. Nice bar and plenty of gathering tables. Good variety of flavorful beers that won't disappoint. Live music is regular there. I enjoyed conversation with the staff who were friendly and informative. Food can be ordered in as this is a true tap room! If you collect brewpub shirts or glasses, they have nice ones for sale!

If you like craft beer and you are in ND - this is the place to go. May I recommend an IPA or two.Laughing Sun is located right downtown Bismarck. The beers are exceptionally crafted. The beer is complimented by competent and friendly bar staff that will explain the beers to you and serve you with a smile. Food is not served here, but you are welcome to carry in. There is a small outdoor seating area when the weather is good.Laughing Sun has music several nights a week. When this place is busy, it can get a little claustrophobic. It has become quite a successful establishment, which is putting pressure on a small footprint.

My husband and I have been to Laughing Sun a couple of times and love it! It's small, but that's part of its charm. They serve their own locally brewed beer (brewed right there in the building) and root beer (possibly ginger ale, too). They don't serve food, but have several take-out menus if you want something delivered...such as pizza from their next door neighbor, Fireflour Pizza. We haven't been there for the live music...yet! Outside seating was added; again, not a lot of it, but that keeps it intimate. Very cool place to stop for a beer with friends in downtown Bismarck!!
