Lake Park is just big enough and beautiful. It was designed by the same man that designed Central Park in NYC. It has a dreamy ravine with a stream that you can walk through and an expansive trail of walkways up top

I live near this park. It is a great place to walk and explore. There are miles of walking paths and if you like adventure, you can go down into the ravines along paths and bridges. The park is peaceful, yet full of activity. There is a 9 hole easy golf course, the old lighthouse-now a maritime museum, a first rate restaurant, and more. A wonderful place to walk your dog and meet like-minded people. Many joggers use the park, as well as bird watchers and just walkers. Magnificent views of Lake Michigan from the eastern cliffs. It is truly a gem in the city.

This is a huge park with lots of unique features. A lighthouse, historic bridges and walkable ravine with waterfall are a few. A great restaurant and golf course are also great attractions. Bike trails abound. A must-see. http://www.lakeparkfriends.org/history.shtml

What a great way to enjoy Lake Michigan! You can bike, hike, boat, swim, play volleyball, picnic, fly a kite. The view of the city from the lake is lovely. The area is safe and well-patrolled. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have fun, and it's great for families. The summer musical festivals are outstanding.

The service is always best in class.This compliments the food , the best rib-eye in town is here! Wanna BURGER that will leave you wanting another , except your far too stuffed ? Not to Mention the Foie Gras , perfect and they know how to use White and Black Truffles here . We love this place for Brunch, Lunch and Dinner . we have never regretted one meal here . Life is too short to eat at crummy restaurants.

Fun family activity with 18 holes of pitch and putt golf close to town. Honor system to pay when unmanned. I heard you can play at night with glow in the dark balls but not sure its allowed. Drinks or a meal at Lake Park Bistro caps off a fun day.

The red light house marks the way into the Milwaukee harbor where you can see the hoan bridge. The view of Lake Michigan is priceless, the two hand cranked boxes tell you about the foxes and plants that live in this park.. This park is the start of two bicycle trails.. The Oak Leaf and the Hank Aaron bicycle trail... If you are here during one of the many Music Festivals you can hear the music from this park... A must to see on a warm sunny day... (Even if it's cool out it's worth the trip)

Beautiful view and very good food. A little expensive but a wonderful atmosphere and a very lovely area to visit. Close to downtown.

Used to live two blocks from the upper part of the park. This place is awesome to run and walk through, and has some of the best views of the lake in the city. Bring a picnic or come to walk the dog. Oh, and in the summer you have direct access to Bradford Beach!

Expected a little more from this based on the reviews. Overall, it's a nicely done park. Wish the Northpoint Lighthouse had better visiting hours. Nice views overlooking Lake Michigan.

Nice place to go to stroll along the waterfront or relax on the grass or beach. we went during the week so it was not too crowded, traffic was not too bad either. Lovely day trip while visiting Milwaukee

Walking through Lake Park which is above a Drive which overlooks the lake is beautiful There is a great kids' playground and music on Monday nights in the summer. My favorite restaurant is located there.

It is a park- you dont expect to get much except relaxing from it. but no, not from this one - with art museum & discovery world rioght next to it 0 with kite shop in the middle - with hlake michigan in front with sea paves in it - with beasutiful ducks around you - with tracks perfectly laid for jogging or a stroll - with small rides for your kids - its a perfect evening spot for you & your family.
