Scenic, tough course. Basic amenities, but the course and views make up for it. Close to Hayward and the quiet lakes (Spider, Lost Land, and Teal).

nicely situated amongst the trees and water. this is a tight course, with good lost ball potential. at least there are 5 sets of tees to help some people out. wasn't busy at all on a sunday afternoon. we got around in less than 4 hours. make sure you read the tips signs at the teebox of each hole to help you play it (especially for first timers). those tips were VERY helpful. got to see some deer on the course too. will definitely play here again.

Awesome course...but tough!! Although ended with more balls than started with:) very narrow compared to what we are used to but loved it!!

Have enjoyed this golf course in the woods for many years. Always beautiful and so much fun to play and enjoy the scenery . Over the past couple of years the maintenance of the course leaves a lot to be desired. Have to admit that the recent winters were hard on the course but still, some attempt to bring the course back to playable has not been done. The greens are not mowed with any regularity and the fairways are covered with dandelions making it hard to spot your ball (if you happened to find the fairway). Many of the greens were so bad that it was not even possible to putt on parts of the surface. While I have always enjoyed this course, I will not be returning unless I learn that a lot of upgrades have happened. What a shame as the course has a lot of potential and has provided some great golf in the past.

Challenging course and very interesting golf holes. At this time, the course was quiet and we had an easy time completing in less than 4 hours

The golf course staff are friendly and helpful but that was the only real plus. The fairways and greens had a number of spots with burned out grass. We were told the course is walkable and so we played with pull carts. The hills made for quite strenuous exercise but we expected that. What we didn't expect was the distances between several of the greens and next tee boxes. It added more to the walk than we anticipated. For the same style of course in the woods and for the same money (or even a bit less) I would recommend Telemark (where we played twice).
