This is always where I stop for special gifts that involve food. I can always count on finding something local and tasty. Plus it's just a fun little cabin like shop to browse.

So happy we stopped by this little gem. A quaint farm & food shop with a wide variety of delicous home-made sauces, jams, chutney, etc. and local foods, crafts, candles, a little bit of everything. They had a full spread of samples, so you could taste their wares and Rebecca from Gigi's was there with some delicious cocktail samples made with Tait Farms fruit shrubs. The staff were just as lovely as this perfect find!

Can be a bit pricey, but many of their condiments and mixes I view as more novelty or gift (i don't put hot pepper jam on everyhing, or mix rhubarb shrub concentrate into all my drinks) but the quality and flavor are beyond beleif. I've seen their wares around the country at "old fashioned" food shops. Fun gift(s) for family and friends not from PA.

The Harvest Shop at Tait Farm is a great place to shop for gifts or a little treat for yourself. The farm produced jams, chutneys, etc are top of the line and make wonderful hostess or holiday gifts. (Beautiful gift box collections are available online.) Other locally produced food items are also available, along with local produce and plants (in season). Other items in the shop are thoughtfully selected; the inventory is not great, but very nice. And don't miss the Raspberry Shrub!

Make sure you pick up some of their home-made chutneys and relishes. We travel all the way from Cleveland to get their tomato chutney. They also have a wonderful Fig and Olive spread. Great Nursery items and they have lots of great cheeses in their case too. If they let you, ask them to see the Bassett Hounds.

Their outdoor plants are very reasonable priced; especially the huge mums in the fall. You can't beat the prices.
