Had a great time with two of our kids at the Summer Blast. Great riding, trails are well marked. The bands were great and all the staff were friendly. Wish they had shower houses but the portable showers worked well enough and I know they plan on getting more facilities as they're able. It was very dusty but that can't really be helped either; just depends on the weather. We met some great people.

Part of the Ride Dirty ( www.ridedirtygear.com ) crew took the 5 hour trip from Geneseo, NY down to Patton, PA for the Rally at the Rock weekend.Between the 6 of us, we've ridden all over NY, PA, VA, and OH - but never here.Did a google search for rides in PA the weekend of the 27th-29th, and away we went.Upon getting there the office building and garage were astounding. First class establishment - so much so, that we though it was a state run operation (as we all know, only government can manage to build the nicest stuff - on our dime! Ugggh) but it wasn't. Rock Run is a private place, and operates as such.The trail system and map are very clear, and equate to approximately 140 miles of trails suitable for all OHV's.There's rock crawling for the bigger OHV (trucks, SUV's) and even single track trails for the MX bikes only - although a 4wheeler with some skill could make it too (side-by-sides, don't bother - too narrow)Camping was spectacular. We had our truck, RV, and trailer, and all fit in the space perfect, with room for our 3 4wheelers and 3 dirtbikes to sit outside.The only thing we'd do different is come down a day earlier. We left Geneseo on Friday night, and only got to ride Saturday and then Sunday morning and then back home. A 5 hour drive (at minimum) is not worth doing for that short a time. Add in the extra day and we'd do it again in a heartbeat - or a year, which is when we plan to go back for next year's Rally at the Rock.Check for the Ride Dirty crew while you're there, or better yet, check us out at www.ridedirtygear.com and ask for your free RD oval decal!

We are used to traveling to offroad in our jeep. Rock run is a great place to go--and not far from home. Property and trails are marked for what type of vehicle you choose to bring. Well kept grounds and facilities. Camping available, which we plan on doing next trip.
