beech hill farm & ice cream barn

Not only is the ice cream fantastic, there are lots of animals for the kids to look at and some you can pet. Fun corn maze. Plants and all kinds of home made crafts you can purchase. Great fun for the whole family. The hardest part is getting the kids out of the giant sand pile, which has all kinds of trucks, buckets, shovels. Kids love it !!!

This is a wonderful shop with a fun gift store and petting zoo. its an all in one stop shop that the grandchildren love.

Last year I discovered Beech Hill Farm while looking for an ice cream stand. Bech Hill Farm is located in the picturesque town of Hopkinton. The farm itself is quaint and beautiful! There is a barn of antique farming equipment, 2 flower sheds, a giant "sand pile" complete with all the trucks and sand toys a kid could ask for, a gift shop (locally made goods, a few large corn mazes, walking trails, several friendly farm animals and of course, the ICE CREAM!! There are over 75 flavors of ice cream and frozen yogurt. The highlight-in my opinion- is the "make your own ice cream bar". My kids are 5 & 11 and both LOVE the farm animals which include, chickens, rabbits, ducks, goats, llamas, pigs, peacocks, cows, ponies, and mini donkeys! They also host free events throughout the season in their "activity barn" such as concerts from local musicians. Thier gift shop not only includes the typical t-shirts & mugs, but also locally crafted soaps, art, baked goods, farm fresh milk & eggs, and local meat. A typical visit can range from 1-4 hours. If your looking for an old-fashioned fun time for the family, I highly suggest giving Beech Hill a try! Wonderful place, wonderful people, and wonderful ice cream!

We happened to stop at the Beech Hill Farm after finding it online, for things to do in the fall.What a great time we had. They had 3 corn mazes. The most fun was it was like a learning experience too.Before entering the maze, you got 3 different leaflets to find the answers throughout the mazes.That was really fun.You could see the kids, and ourselves included, trying to find the answers throughout the maze.Each maze was different.Afterward, we had ice cream in the ice cream barn, which also was a gift shop.We were there for almost 3 hours.Great Job Beech Hill Farm for a great "Go To" stop for Fall Fun!!!I only wish I had brought my camera. We never expected to have this much fun at a Corn Maze!
