What a great time we had rafting the Royal Gorge. Our guides Dave and Matt were wonderful. This is our fourth trip with the Dvorak's crew and it seems to get better every time. We would recommend Dvorak Expeditions for everyone. We would also like to thank Natalie for the great advice she gave and her friendliness. We would like send a shout our to our friends from Texas. See you all next year.

We had arranged to float down Big Sheep Canyon but were switched to Brown's Canyon at the last minute (we found out that morning). However, it turned out to be a great idea - since the river levels were so low. Better communication is desired (tell us in advance, please, that you are switching to another route!) Our guide was pleasant but talked too much (we weren't paddling so didn't need much instruction). Ray talked and talked and talked. Finally toward the end, he quieted down, allowing us to be closer to our experience. The rafting company is top notch - and appreciated the neoprene booties. Being told that I couldn't wear my sun hat underneath the helmet needs to be addressed - really? I'm very sensitive to the sun.

We recently did the 1/2 day Browns canyon raft trip with our guide, Jake. The area was beautiful and Jake made the trip very fun. While we watched other raft companies put in 3-6 rafts at a time, all of which had to stay together, we put in with our single raft. Jake guided along and past the other LARGE groups of rafts until we were actually alone on a very crowded river. We are so glad that we chose Dvorak's for our adventure.

Thank you to Barb and guide Jake and all the staff who made such an effort to accommodate our limited time frame for rafting the Arkansas. To work in a 1/2 day Browns Canyon trip for my 3 visiting Japanese students was heaven. I appreciate all the effort you put forth to give them a thrilling experience. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

We recently hired two excellent guides from Dvorak's for a three day kayak course for our teenage boys. They learned how to eskimo roll, boof, surf, and just plain have an awesome time. Both instructors were knowledgable, patient, and really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this outfitter for private kayaking lessons. Previously, we participated on their Desolation/Gray multi-day trip on the Green River. Really a must do. After a few days out in that beautiful country, you forget all about whatever was stressing you out before you put on the river (emails, schedules, etc.) The food was great, the guides professional, and the scenery was awe-inspiring.

We visited Nathrop,Co in early June (2014). We had never visited Colorado during the summer and we were in awe of the beauty. We booked a 4 day specialty trip with Dvorak expeditions. We took a 2 day overnight raft trip where we were treated like kings and queens. The meals were delicious. We also went mountain biking, ziplining and rafting for a third time. Matt, Nina, Mafro and B.L. were all wonderful guides. We were very lucky to have Matt Dvorak was our guide throughout the trip. We were amazed by not only their knowledge, but by their hospitality. We will definitely be back for a longer trip!!!

The guides and staff are fantastic and personable. We felt like family. They went beyond our expectations. Will be coming back soon.

This weekend my two young kids and I went rafting with Dvorak. The customer service at check-in was also very good. Our guide, Dee, was great. She made my kids feel safe, shared some fun facts about the river, while giving them enough excitement that they can't wait to go again. Great experience for our family.

2 hr whitewater rafting trip down Brown's Canyon had great sights, and the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgable.

Enjoyed our guide, enjoyed our ride!! Beautiful scenery, on the river, enough of a challenge for first timers (13 yr old twins) and safe enough for mom and dad! I'm sure river levels differ on each adventure but we thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend for locals and visitors!!

We had an excellent time rafting the Brown's Canyon leg of the Arkansas River with Dvorak's Expeditions. Our guide was easy going and friendly. The staff were knowledgable about the area and gave great advice on adventure in the area. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. The river is beautiful and it was especially secluded on our trip. Transportation, directions and check in was a breeze! Thanks so much for a great trip!!!

We used Dvorak's for my first rafting trip and we joined another group of 5 guests for the Brown's Canyons trip. Our guide Matt was excellent - we had a variety of ages (from 6 to 60s) and rafting experience in the raft and he was great with all. It was nice to be with a smaller company and not one of the other much larger operators who had what looked like 15-20 rafts each on the same section of river .... we were able to pass them as they waited for their groups to catch up with each other. I would not look to use or recommend any other operator.

Our family has floated Browns Canyon, the Numbers and the royal Gorge numerous times since the late 90's with Dvorak ... In comparison we have rafted the white waters of the Nontoheala in North Carolina and the Yellowstone... The Arkansas and Dvoraks are simply unmatched when it comes to the best... Our family can't wait to get back.

We received a Living Social deal for a Brown's Canyon rafting trip with Dvorak's and decided to give this small outfit a try. We arrived a little early and were expecting more people but some of the other parties were late (due to a traffic issue) so our guide Mateos (sp?) went ahead and fit us in our safety gear, gave us our safety brief and we loaded up. The launch site was only a few minutes away. After a little paddling practice, we walked the raft down to the river and took off. The first few miles allowed us to practice our paddle form and other commands. Then we finally got to some fun (but manageable) rapids mixed with some really beautiful scenery down the river. I've been on a rafting trip with a large outfit out of Canyon City and I much preferred the personal service from Dvorak and the scenery of Brown's Canyon (to floating down right beside HWY 50). Dvorak was a better value too! Our guide was very knowledgeable and he ensured a safe and fun rafting trip. They also offer a multitude of other trips for those who are interested. [For those who want to know - there are porta-potties at Dvorak's and bathrooms available at the launch site (at least for Brown's Canyon).] I would highly recommend giving this small outfit a try - you won't be disappointed.

Our first time visiting Colorado with our two sons and white water rafting was on our to do list. After researching many options, we made plans for a day trip with Dvoraks and so glad we did. Not only were the guides very safe and competent, the office was very accommodating when a flight delay made it impossible for us to make our originally scheduled trip. Our guide Nate was awesome and made it a trip to remember. This is the rafting company to go with!
