No dislikes -- loved it all! Historical sites galore in and around town and a Helen Keller Festival in June each year with tons of arts and crafts

Spring Park has been around a long time. It is a sweet small town park. I used to walk down there from my grandmothers house when I was a child. It went downhill for several years, but it is now like I remember and then some. In the summer they have a merry go round, and a train ride. It is a place I will always treasure.

The Spring and pond are feed by an under ground spring. Feed the ducks, ride the little train, Ride the Classic Merry Go Round. Weekend are music and dancing water fountain to Music. Swings plenty of picnic tables.huge shade trees. The splash pad is great for little ones to play. You do have to pay to enter.

The park was decorated with lights galore. I'd suggest a walk around rather then the short drive. The water feature is very nice. Well worth a holiday visit.

This park is in our "backyard" as we are 20 miles away. We would love to visit a place like this if we were from out of town and had children especially! We go quite often to watch the water show, walk in the park, grab a bite to eat and enjoy walking around in downtown Tuscumbia!

Great casual atmosphere! Great food! Open 11-2 Sundays thru Thursdays. We really liked that as soon as it became apparent from how we talked that we weren't from The South and that we were from Canada, we were given information of where/what to do when in the area. (This information was even better than the typical information at the tourist centre.) The staff as well as the patrons who all seemed to know each other generously made us feel "welcomed" more than anywhere else we have ever been. Chris Claunch and Johnny Belew (the amazing cook) turned a dining experience into a "lifetime" experience. The menu will make you want to return and return; the atmosphere will be contagiously friendly.

We stumbled upon this when we were killing time before dinner. A wonderful park with lots to do for kids. The lake and waterfall are beautiful. The downtown area nearby is a nice walking area as well.

A nice park!! Waterfalls, merry-go-round, roller coaster, train, picnic areas, walking trails, shadey area with benches, lots of history!! Less than 1 mile of Hwy 72. A nice 'pit stop' if your traveling in through the area. And if you are there Sun-Thurs be sure to have lunch at the Claunch Café. YUM YUM!!! This was our first visit, but NOT our last!!

Well I loved the little train ride. It was perfect on a hot August day to just cool off. And my sister and her friend and I loved the little dinosaur roller coaster! It's faster and tougher than it looks! You should try it it is very adventurous! And we loved getting our picture by the waterfall! But, the bathrooms smelt terribly of fecies, urine, and just a bad stench. There was toilet paper in the floor and it smelt like a gas leak and like someone had passed gas. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years! Do not let your children use the bathroom there! Also,we were disappointed about the Splash Pad not being open on weekdays. We finally got to go because my sisters friends grandmother brought us and we hadn't been since I was little! And we had brought our bathing suits and all! Also the time the park opens wasn't good either! We got there at 10:30 and had to wait 30 mins before we could ride anything because you had to have tickets or armbands! But the staff was really nice except one guy that ran the carousel. He was a little grumpy and snappy at the kids. And wouldn't let them move if they wanted a different horse after they had already got on it! But I guess everyone has those days! So I mean he was pretty nice! The people at the ticket counter and the dinosaur/dragon roller coaster were so sweet and helpful! Also we loved the train ride! Also, if you are hungry this is the place to be! There is the Claunch Café in the park! We didn't eat there but I bet it's good! There is also an O'Brian's right up the street! Also down the road is a Burger King and a Jack's! The food was really good at Jack's but they didn't get our order completely right but overall it was great! We loved coming here bring back those memories and making new ones! Also the playground is wonderful and have lots of equipment for babies and children! There are also pavilions to eat under for a picnic at the park! We will definitely be coming back to Spring Park! We loved it!

This was a very pleasant stop on a hot day. We didn't see all of the park because I didn't want to pay to get into the Helen Keller festival but we were able to see quite a bit and stand in front of the falls to enjoy a drastic cooling mist from the water falls, very refreshing. This was probably my favorite stop in Tuscumbia. Totally worth the trip.

So I love this park because I went a lot as a child. I think people who don't have the history would like the park too. There's a little train for the younger kids and there are some playground equipment and an old military tank. There's a spring there (hence the name) with a big pond (small lake?) with lots of ducks and geese. We hear there's a water show with lights and music on the weekends that starts at dusk. It would be nice if the show said specifically when the show starts. We tried to go to the show but we think there was a glitch. We think the show tried to start twice but we didn't really hear music and the lights only lit up for a short period of time while the water came on briefly as well. So for now, don't go to the water show unless you know it'll work correctly.

Small but pretty park. Seemed well maintained. Train ride, carousel, ducks to feed, picnic pavilion, historical markers. Claunch Café was very good.

A beustiful park complete with a natural spring. It is handicap accessible, has bathrooms, picnic tables, walking path, waterfall, lake, playground, small rollercoaster, small carousel, and childrens train. At night on the weekends there is a dancing waters light show. This park is oriented towards families with young children, although there were many adults without children relaxing under the large, beautiful shade trees enjoying their picnic.Open daily 9-9, the park has several features that make a visit worthwhile. It has the largest known man-made waterfalls, Coldwater Falls as well as a lovely lake, nice playground and plenty to do for a long afternoon-which is good because you will want to stay for the dusk light and fountain show set to various music each Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.
