We've been here a couple of times and they have a nice information desk, small museum and gift shop (with many nice Cape Cod items). Definitely recommend for first timers. They also have nice restroom facilities if you need to stop before going out to one of the beaches.

We were on our way to some attractions in the Outer Cape and decided to drop by at this Visitor Center just for a short rest stop. We ended up spending more than an hour. The view of Salt Pond from the center was simply magnificent. There is an auditorium that shows short documentaries as well as a small museum. For first-timers like us, they were very informative. There are also trails from the Center but they were closed because of the heavy snowfalls in the past three weeks. The facilities were clean and well maintained. What impressed us most was the staff at the information counter and the souvenir shop – they made us feel very welcome and gave many useful pointers and suggestions on what we could do and what to look out for at the Cape Cod National Seashore and the Outer Cape.

A gateway and great introduction to the Cape Cod National Seashore. Walking trails, museum, displays, movies, outdoor ampitheather for music and talks, they do things all year round!. Friendly and helpful staff

A great way to get out in the marshes, a completely different eco-system than the beaches in the area. Wear a hat, sunblock, and insect spray. Sandy and flat in some areas but a couple of bridges with steps and a hill or two.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the little museum and loved watching the birds in the Salt Pond. The book store had a great selection of books about Cape Cod and the wild life as well as little souvenirs too.

The visitor center has a helpful staff to answer all of your questions about The National Seashore. Beautiful view from the lobby of the Salt Marsh. It has a nice selection of books/maps in the gift store as well as other items. Large parking lot, even for a RV, close to bike path, hiking trails, restrooms, amphitheater. Our favorite bike ride heads towards Coast Guard Beach from there.

We stopped at this visitor's center to check out the museum, views, films (there were two when we were there in October) and use the facilities. Very clean and very nice on a rather blustery day. The staff were exceedingly helpful in making our visit to Cape Cod productive for what we wanted to visit. Very friendly and efficient. Loved the films and the area has a number of great walking areas. We especially enjoyed the Nauset Light Beach area. The handicapped ramp was under repair so there were 56 steps to walk to get to the beach and another 56 back! but worth it. The views were breathtaking and the beach lovely. We had a lovely walk before lunch and enjoyed every minute of it. It was especially lovely in the off season with the fall colors and less traffic to get to the places were wanted to visit. Some restaurants were already closed for the season but it was still great.

The staff at the visitor center is very welcoming and helpfull. The ranger gave us really good tips about trails and beaches around this area. There is also a museum and a nice shop where we bought some postcards and magnets. We took a quick look into the photography exhibit. The pictures were beautiful.

This is a very nice visitor center with a lot of information for the visitor. The rangers are a great source of information about trails etc. Nice maps of the park showing the trails. The movies were very interesting and a great way to learn about the history as well as the natural history area. A nice gift shop was well stocked with interesting souvenirs and shops. There is also a small museum with a lot of information and displays about the history of the area including the earlier inhabitants.Step outside and enjoy beautiful views of the salt hole, a kettle pond with salt water in it.Bathrooms are available.Probably the place to stop before you start your visit so you can have a better idea of how to plan your day.

Beautiful stop and very educational. The films with the explanations about the formation of Cape Cod and the whaling ships were excellent. Plus, the easy hiking paths were a delight to walk on with the interpretive signs. The maps and displays were great inside the visitor's center. Information provided about the First Nation people - their way of life and language was very interesting to me and something I had not seen elsewhere on the Cape.
