Nice course, always well maintained. Only criticism is during busy season ( Nov. thru March) they tend to over book and play is slow. If you can get done in 4.5 hours, you're lucky ! This is a hard course with lots of different looks.

Really liked the golf course. Greens were running 12 at least but you can see breaks. Fairways were good, not great but gets a fair amount of play. Bailey was great for a lesson, I may join the semi- private club as I am moving here this fall. Range and practice area was substantial and well kept. Great value and a must play for me in Tucson.

Don't bother planning on picking up some rental clubs--it was a disaster!Mixed bag--to say the least! Pro-shop acknowledged---"We got it all!"When We tried to qualify the clubs----"they will get you around just fine!"Now We are not discriminate golfers---but this mish-mash was terrible,and actually incomplete.Beyond this attempt to play with such apologetic and worn out woods/irons,the course was in excellent shape!---Which is why We chose Del Lago overcloser courses in Tucson.Pro shop staff and starter were great and accommodating---beverage cart always handy, and in spite of the disappointment with equipment--it was afun round.Lunch was a surprise as well, as We suggested to our friends We stay forafter-golf lunch-------Beef dip was tasteless, specialty hot dog over-cooked,chicken quesadilla was flavourful , and the bison burger was good.Margs were as good as usual----and We always enjoy the patio atmosphere.Overall---a repeat at some time, but forget rentals entirely!

The course has an interesting layout with lots of different challenges. It is tough but normally in very good condition.If you hit it straight you can score but wayward shots are punished. Good practice facilities and always fun as long as you don't get depressed if things don't go your way.

Very disappointed in the Mother's Day brunch. Expected quality food at $27 a person and if was mediocre, they even served store bought pre froze deserts. Disappointed to say the least.

If you enjoy a challenge, you'll love this desert course. It's in great condition, and the greens are fabulous. Play target golf and try to stay out of the desert if at all possible. Keep it long and straight, and you should be okay.

The Del Lago Golf Course will please most golfers with it's variety of challenges throughout the course. There are a number of water hazards and bunkers throughout the layout. The staff in the pro shop is friendly and efficient and there is often a good deal to be found on greens fees. Give Del Lago a try, you will most likely be happy you did.

Upon arrival at the pro shop, we were cordially greeted by the assistant pro. We were afforded a discount from the on-line booking rate, a nice surprise. Pro shop well stocked, nice restaurant/bar. From the first tee on, we were wowed ! A challenging but playable desert course. Beautiful vistas, unbelievably fast greens. Pace of play, for us paired up with another twosome, was less than 4 hrs. Greens, tees and fairways in great shape.Will be on our list every time in Tucson.

Played Del Lago golf course in Vail Arizona several times while my home course was closed for renovation this summer and over seeding this fall. The course delivers good value for the money and is kept in good condition for a public play course. Have played it once since it was over seeded the fairways while greens are still bermuda and they did an good job. Once the freeze hits this winter however the greens, which were not over seeded, will not be great to play on.

great course and good tee times. Nice atmosphere and views. Course challenging and good. The grounds are well kept up and have lots of different events to participate in throughout the year, will definitely be back next trip in!

We were the guests of a family wedding at the beautiful Del Lago Golf Club. It was a fantasy come true for the bride and groom. The staff was amazing and the food was incredible. The food portions were large and we ended up with leftovers. Nothing was out of place and the decor was simple, yet elegant. The staff were very attentive to all of the wedding guests needs. The scenery of the background can't be topped!
