We went to this winery on our honeymoon. The wine was decently good, but the food and service were another story. The menu is quite limited, expensive, and there is a silly rule that you can't change any of the six pizzas on the menu. We tried to order their deluxe pizza minus sausage, and the waitress just shook her head. So, we ended up paying $18 for a 14 inch pepperoni pizza that came with plastic plates.

Even though this winery is close to us I had never been in their actual place of business although I have bought their wines before. I found many wines I liked and the atmosphere was very pleasant. My sister goes there frequently and we stopped on our way home one day. I bought some bottles and brought them home to enjoy

Who would of thought a Winery could have a black Friday sale. Great wine and the staff is so very nice and helpful. Every wine was better than the last one. I really liked Dark Red not too dry but not too sweet. Great tasting areas with plenty of room indoors and out when the weather permits.

Great wines and atmosphere. Awesome black Friday sale. Tasting room contains ample room and seating to sit and mingle with friends and family.

We stopped at this delightful winery on our way to Greenville. Upon arriving we were greeted by a friendly hostess who promptly sat us at a table. My husband and I chose to do 5 two once servings a piece for 12 dollars a piece along with water. This is the equivalent of two good glasses of wine per person, most of the wines are between 3.50-5.50 a glass, so this was a good deal. The winery is lit with indoor CHRISTMAS like white lights and floral decorations. Light Jazz plays in the background. They have a lunch and dinner menu of homemade fare but we didn't try any. This is an Ohio winery with exceptional wines produced and bottled on the property. Most wines are reasonably priced under sixteen dollars. I would recommend the Viogner and the spiced apple wine with their house made spice packet to add to warm in a crockpot. I would recommend this delightful winery anyone in the Dayton area. It is a scenic drive an hour's drive north!

Once a month we do a little excursion on a Saturday as a couple to explore a village or attraction in our area. We typically include local breweries and taprooms but decided to venture to a nearby village that always looks interesting and has a winery that we frequently hear about. This is near the area that Annie Oakley is from, so there's lots of potential for interest here. First of all the village of Versailles (pronounced ver-sales), while well-manicured and with a few intriguing little local shops is DEAD on Saturdays! Very few shops even have Saturday morning hours! So we decided to go for lunch at the winery. It's just outside of town off of Route 127 and while it's a fairly quiet and cozy little place, we just could see so many missed opportunities to make it worth your while to make the trip to get there. The wines are decent, some much better than others, but we can buy most of them at a shop or grocery without actually going to the winery itself. Examples of little things that make a big difference: we were provided menus upon being seated, but our hostess/waitress never mentioned that their were specials for the day--they were listed on a little white board tucked away that we didn't notice upon entering; our "gourmet" cheese and cracker tray was a shock. A handful of colby/jack cheese cubes that were cold alongside a sleeve of Ritz crackers emptied into one of those cheap little plastic baskets with a paper liner. It wasn't even in an effort to be quaint or retro--it just felt really CHEAP. The chicken tarte was a thinly veiled pizza on a tortilla. We had hoped this would be a place that we could return to, but today's experience definitely left an ascetic taste (although the wines themselves did not). Guess we just expected a winery to be a step above the great experiences we've had at taprooms and breweries. Sadly this was not.Little Miss Sure Shot may hail from this area, but the Winery at Versailles just misses the mark in our opinion.

The winery is nice place located outside of town. The are usually running events and wine tasting, so you may want to call ahead. They offer numerous wines for different taste.

Tasting a flight upstairs is a nice and cozy event! Even when they are busy, it feels like we are well attended and can relax and enjoy a quiet moment or two.

First of all we don't understand why people rate this place as 5 stars and compares it to other wineries in places like Paso Robles. The wines are regular and some not good at all. What is really bad is the food, bread was supposed to be fresh baked and it was very dry and tasteless, like a warmed up cheap bun. The cheese was cheap cheddar brought to us directly from the fridge, cold and hard. We asked for olive oil and it was brought in a small plastic cup like the ones you get at fast food places. There are no ceramic plates nor silverware, everything is served in plastic disposable service. The menu is a typed sheet of white paper and consists only of pizza. We ordered one with spinach and tomato, it had 3 or 4 pieces of these, it tasted like frozen pizza. It was disappointing because it has the potential to be a good place if they decide to take advantage of the concept of make it more upscale improving the menu and the service as most of the good wineries have.

Wonderful Winery, the staff was super. The Winery at Versailles was great from the very beginning of our visit everything was great. Very pleasant staff, good lunch, and excellent wines. We actually bought a case of wine and became a member of the case club. Will definitely be going back. We visit many wineries throughout the year and The Winery at Versailles was worth the trip.

Near downtown Versailles is a sweet little Winery. They also offer tastings and have a small restaurant. Our bass player/guitarist likes Pinot Grigio and we also got a bottle of Rodeo Red. Very good!!!

My husband and I really enjoy stopping at this winery. The atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing, especially if you sit outside. We do a flight of wines to compare. We have done this several times and we know their wines, but it's fun to compare the different years! The bonus is that seniors get 20% off on Tuesdays !

This is not in historic wine country but the imported selection is still good. Wine tasting here will rival most any California wine tasting stores. Easy access, easy parking for what it is, it is worth the trip to experience.

The Winery at Versailles has come into it's own. The wine is good, they have lovely facility in which to taste or just sit enjoy the country and have a glass of wine. Fun place to visit.
