this is a great little place. The food and wine are excellent! Try to make a point of stopping for lunch every time I'm back in Nebraska.

Picturesque location with terrific back terrace seating/tables to sip your samples. Try their fortified wine (with brandy). Tasted some nice whites (sweet-ish) and enjoyed their drier reds (they also have some sweet reds). They also have some east (cheese, sausage, etc.) Nice relaxing stop! Small fee for wine tastings-well worth it.

We recently attended a 5oth Wedding Anniv. Celebration at this beautiful winery. We are from an area abundant in grape vines and wineries, so our expectations were minimal for a small winery in the middle of Nebraska :) What a pleasant surprise! Our event was a fantastic success, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting. They have a main tasting room with decorative tables and chairs, and an "overflow" room for larger groups. There is also a lovely patio with beautiful, large flower pots in full bloom. We were able to taste several of the wines, and enjoyed a catered event with fresh and delicious hors d'oeuvres. There were many more wine varieties than we expected and even a very nice sweeter dinner wine for my 98 yr. old Dad :) The staff were attentive with both food and wine, and even made suggestions when I couldn't make up my mind! Definitely worth the short distance off I 80 if you're just driving through!!

I've seen the wines on the shelf in local grocery stores in Eastern Nebraska, but without ever tasting them, I was leery... so for a friend's birthday, we took a road-trip and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was phenomenal (I was shocked to hear the server wasn't "family" because she was so engaged with her job.) Every wine we tried, we loved and with 4 different palates that's saying so much.

I've been there a few times and every visit has been incredibly enjoyable. The first time I went was for my Birthday and my husband and I had lunch with a wine tasting. The staff was super friendly and the wine was delicious. The last time I went was for a Christmas party during one of their Fridays with Friends events. It was a very busy place that night but the staff continued to be friendly and helpful and the wine was just as good as the first visit. They had great live music plus some snack foods (nachos, brownies, etc) to eat. It's awesome to have a place like this in Nebraska for those who enjoy a good glass of wine and nice atmosphere.
