zionsville farmers market

Fresh foods, jams, flowers....nice people and dog friendly. Downtown has a lot to offer. Fun event for families.

There are some favorite stops at this market in the parking lot on the south end of the bricked Main Street. In July, it's the Melon Guy for super sweet large cantaloupe. July and August means white sweet corn from My Dads Corn (a bunch of 20-something's with a pick up truck bed full of amazing ears of corn). The entire summer there are the baked goods from a Brookstone Bakery. (The garlic bread makes an amazing bruschetta). I also get my herb plants and tomato plants from this market each spring

From 8-11 a.m. every Saturday, Mother's Day through September, the town of Zionsville holds its farmers market at the end of their very beautiful brick street shopping area. I especially like to purchase B. Happy peanut butter--the white chocolate pretzel is unbelievably good! There are also flowers for sale. It makes for a really fun girls day out!
