A little piece of history that is totally worth exploring. It has easy access to the big fort, so just take a little walk or head down the hill on the trolley and you're right there!

Just a short walk from Castillo San Felipe del Morro. This Fort seems to be less visited but is still very beautiful and has some great views of the ocean and San Juan. For $5 you get admission to both Forts, just don't lose your ticket.

bring a camera! Don't forget to go through the underground tunnels and see the 300 year old "graffiti"

My wife and I visited Puerto Rico for our anniversary as our tradition to visit the Caribbean once a year. Our trip to Puerto Rico was nice, even though it was a bit rainy. Castillo de San Cristobal and el Morro are great highlight and nice to have a walk with your loved one. We took pictures by the small towers and the ocean view is magnificent. Highly recommended for the views and its history.

Entrance fee is $5 for both Cristóbal and el Morro fort so keep your receipts! Good for 7 days. 9am - 6pm daily and they close very promptly so plan accordingly!

It's an awesome place to visit. It's larger than El Morro and its mission was to defend San Juan from attacks coming from the land. It will take a few hours to see it all. Bring your camera and water.

Walked across street from cruise pier and jumped on open air trolley and got off at the fort. It has been wonderfully preserved and easy to get around and read history. From here we walked all over Old San Juan which is very enjoyable.

We toured this in the morning before boarding our cruise. Lots of history and some very beautiful views from the fort, including your cruise ship. Even if you're not heading out on a cruise, morning is a good time to visit and it's a bit cooler and there is so much to explore here.

This place was nice. It's big, so maybe give yourself 2 or more hours to walk around and see everything. Great views of the ocean. You basically can explore the grounds on your own and there are a bunch of areas that are maybe a little dangerous. Drop offs and open areas without gates or fences. If you have kids that run around I would watch them closely so they don't fall into a ditch. It was kinda nice though because in a lot of historic sites you can hardly walk anywhere without a fence or railing blocking your way.
